Inexcusable. Hard to believe I have now seen the Pats lose more Super Bowls than I have seen them win. 4 super losses. Since I am surrounded by a ton of douchebag Giants fans, I was actually rooting for the Pats. But at the end of the day, to see Brady look like a deer in the headlights, Welker drop a pass that would have most likely iced the game, and Belichick have that smug looked wiped cleanly off his face....well, it makes up for the Giants winning.
Actually you looked like a team that has lost 2 Super Bowls in the past 4 years. Defense was non-existent and Brady wilts under any type of QB pressure. Guy panicked on their first offensive possession of the game. But hey - at least you guys got there. Congrats.
Why does everyone keep saying the Giants won 2 out of the last 4, or the Pats lost 2 in the last 4? The last 4 super bowl winners were: giants, packers, saints, steelers. How the hell is that 2 out of 4? It's not just you Bick, but the jint fans are getting annoying as hell, and can't even add right.
I thought that the Pats lost the Super Bowl 4 years ago. I know it was the 2007 season and they played that SB in Feb 2008. So in the span of 4 years, give or take a few days, didn't the Pats lose 2 SB's? -Ed- sent from my mobile device
Just checked. 4 years and 2 days between losses. Reread what I originally wrote and tell me what was incorrect. -Ed- sent from my mobile device
you're goin by years. I'm going by games. guess we're both right/wrong. i'd put it this way. the pats lost 2 Super Bowl in the last 4 years. the jints won 2 out of the last 5 superbowls.
Bro - I wasn't wrong I knew exactly what I wrote and what I meant by it. I was talking about a number of events that occurred in a certain measurement of time. You took it differently. No worries
Probably not, but I wasn't trying to say they lost 2 of the last 4 super bowls. -Ed- sent from my mobile device
Did you notice he had shaved it off for the presser after the game? So now he doesn't even have that. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Haha. Bucknah happened when I was 6 so I can't really comment on that. As Boston mayor Menino would say, "Wekler shoulda caught that F*hkin ball. Now lets get to tha cah and back to Havahd Yahd."
So is there ANY other team that pulls this move to their best free agent and the player is "good with that"? Best thing is he will TAKE THE LOWER DEAL TOO WATCH!!!!
My main issue isn't so much paying it to him one year because you can afford it, but now it is in his mind that he deserves that type of money in a contract.
Say what u want but the numbers don't lie.....and he will probably put up another good season again...... Now it is definately more Brady than him sure I agree with ya.....
I'm hard on Welker. I believe he is an above average receiver for sure, but the money he makes is #1 type guy in any offense money. To me is he a #2 guy on most teams and possibly a #3 in a lot of systems. He happens to play in a system which maximizes his ability and has the luxury as you said of Tom Brady. To me Welker is a 3-4 million type of receiver not a 9-10.
Wes Welker: 122/1569 9tds Brandon Marshall: 81/1214 6 tds If Welker isn't a #1 WR worth the money, then Marshall is worth even less.
I don't use stats that way. Statistics lie in all sports except baseball really, but especially football. Stats are dependent on MANY variables aside from individual skill.
