mini camps are great. not just a gimmick. ive played countless hours of them over the years. they allow you to fine tune your skills.
and please dont underrate the use of playmaker. using playmaker, you can take a play that is designed to beat a man coverage, and then beat zone too. it makes for less broken plays, and more TDs. that is, if you know how to use it. i love the slant curl route.
hitstick is good, especially because it led to the truck/highlight stick.
precision passing was a gimmick for sure. the passing vision cone was annoying to say the least. but the ability to lead your pass to the inside/outside/over/under a WR is crucial. -
What I really felt what EA should've done instead of adding little trinkets (and even taking away them) was revamp graphics, presentation, and just overall gameplay such as fixing clipping.
Never really liked the minicamp but it's ok.
I could live without playmaker though I use it sometimes.
The stupid passing cone was just a nice big way of telling the guy playing against you that you're passing in that direction and to load up every guy in that general vicinity.

i hated it. it was totally unrealistic. it made it nearly impossible to check down your passes. now if it had auto-checkdown, where it move from one WR to another, that might work. but it was way f*ing lame.Boik14 likes this.

never used the cone myself. my throws are all velocity. i don't do the dink and dunk stuff. i either run you over or bomb deep... for the most part.

well. the cone has nothing to do with velocity, but i see what youre trying to say. you can just gun the ball in there on madden 09 though. try doing that against a zone, and you better have your guy WIDE OPEN. otherwise, interception everytime. touch passing is the only way to gain huge chunks of yards.

There're a lot of great tasting juices out there - orange, apple, pineapple, ruby red grapefruit, white grape, and some of those cocktails like white grape/peach, ruby red/tangerine, etc. that I'd pour down my gullet before jumping into the bogs to squeeze out some cranberry.
Blech.
Maybe you just have a bladder infection, or perhaps it does for you what prune juice does for most - keeps you regular. :up: I guess I'll chalk it up to that! -
