You'll notice we have a religion forum (and a site chaplain) but no political forum and as such we don't post about politics due to the divisive nature.

As for your beef with FH, you're not the first person we have heard that from but we try and focus on what is really important here....the Miami Dolphins, girls, and booze :). We do not however believe it is a good idea to belittle or diminish other posters, even ones from other sites.

One thing to keep in mind with regards to daily traffic, quality is more important then quantity. :ffic:

 

You have to let that stuff go, my friend. Christians used to be burned at the stake for sharing their views...you got banned from a lousy forum. It's not worth carrying all that hate and anger over not being accepted- just let it go and focus on your faith. I don't know what religion you are but I can almost guarantee that the teachings say not to carry grudges.

So forgive and forget...and talk about some Dolphins football instead.

Theoretical physicist, futurist, and bestselling author Michio Kaku has developed a theory that points to the existence of God using string theory.

String theory assumes that seemingly specific material particles are actually “vibrational states.”

His view about intelligent design has riled the scientific community because Dr. Kaku is considered one of its most respected and prominent voices. He is the co-creator of string field theory, a branch of string theory.

“I have concluded that we are in a world made by rules created by an intelligence,” he stated, according to the Geophilosophical Association of Anthropological and Cultural Studies.

Dr. Kaku has continued Einstein’s search for a “Theory of Everything,” seeking to unify the four fundamental forces of the universe—the strong force, the weak force, gravity and electromagnetism.

The very purpose of physics, says Kaku is “to find an equation … which will allow us to unify all the forces of nature and allow us to read the mind of God.”

Because string theory may provide a unified description of gravity and particle physics, it is considered a candidate for a Theory of Everything.

To reach his conclusions about intelligence behind the universe, Dr. Kaku made use of what he calls “primitive semi-radius tachyons.”

A tachyon is a particle that always moves faster than light. Many physicists believe such particles cannot exist because they are not consistent with the known laws of physics.

As noted by Einstein and others, special relativity implies that faster-than-light particles, if they existed, could be used to communicate backwards in time.

Dr. Kaku used a technology created in 2005 that allowed him to analyze the behavior of matter at the subatomic scale, relying on a primitive tachyon semi-radius.

When he observed the behavior of these tachyons in several experiments, he concluded that humans live in a “matrix,” a world governed by laws and principles conceived by an intelligent architect.

“I have concluded that we are in a world made by rules created by an intelligence, not unlike a favorite computer game, but of course, more complex and unthinkable,” he said.

“By analyzing the behavior of matter at the subatomic scale affected by the semi tachyon pitch radius, what we call chance no longer makes sense, because we are in a universe governed by established rules and not determined by universal chances plane.

“This means that, in all probability, there is an unknown force that governs everything,” he noted.

However, the unknown force – the first cause that set everything into being and holds everything together is actually a person, Jesus Christ, Christians believe by faith.

In Dr. Kaku’s understanding, the Universe is possibly a symphony of vibrating strings emanating from the mind of God, with His cosmic music resonating through an 11-dimensional hyperspace.

The Japanese-American physicist states “physicists are the only scientists who can say the word ‘God’ and not blush.”

“To me it is clear that we exist in a plan which is governed by rules that were created, shaped by a universal intelligence and not by chance.”

You do know that's most likely a falsified article right? There's no actual credible source pointing to him having said any of that in relation to a God.

That cuts both ways though. No side of the theological spectrum is without fault. The Christians had their Crusades a few hundred years ago, and they used to burn suspected witches at the stake, or hang them, depending on the location.

I don't come over here much since I am busy on the "other site" but without disclosing too much he wasn't banned for believing in God.

 

I am a cast off of FH as well.
While you are correct there is a small group that will attempt to silence you if you disagree. They do give plenty of warnings, and the "main guys" are pretty fair. I had lots of good times at FH, and was banned as well. However, I was warned many times before being banned. It was in retaliation to someone who is also banned. But, its their site, they told me not to respond to a certain member as I was out of strikes. Long story short I deserved it.
So "Redemption" I agree there sometimes are not the same rules for everyone, but I highly doubt you were banned for believing in God. I made some friends over there and enjoyed the banter, and discussing the Dolphins. I figured I would give it a shot over here.
I kept the same name in case any guys on FH who I had interactions with are over here and wanna bust my balls.

 

When it came to burning at the stake, I know about the so called Christians burning suspected witches at the stake. Who was it that burned Christians? Regardless of whom it was, seems like throughout history, Christians dished it out at least as much as they received it.

I don't generally check these introduce yourself threads. For some reason, I did today.
I kind of like the quote attributed to Gandhi. "I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. They are so unlike your Christ." The so called evangelicals are the worst. The words Evangelical Christian comprise an oxymoron IMO. Churches like yours and the United Methodists seem much more sensible and tolerant from what I can tell.

 

There is nothing at all Christian or Christ like with how many in this country want to treat foreigners, and immigrants, whether they are "legal" or not. I submit no one is illegal or everyone other than the indigenous peoples are illegal. This is all stolen land, whether directly stolen or purchased from others who stole it.
None in our history, when it comes to immigrants, were treated any worse than the Irish when they first started coming here. Yet, we see some of obvious Irish descent who seem to have no thought of what their ancestors went through with the way they treat immigrants these days.

 

I'll skip your question since it's already been answered, and add that more people have been murdered "in the name of God" than any other reason throughout our history. Those wars are still raging in the Middle East to this day.

As far as the other comments, there are very few Christian morals left in the world today. We worship smartphones and technology. The media focuses on anger and hatred...and we quickly jump on the bandwagon without all the facts (like you just did with illegal aliens). TV is filled with hate, violence, murder and sex. Reality stars and YouTubers are somehow seen as role models by our youth. With 24/7 entertainment, there's just not enough time left over for God in the 21st century.

This a topic that's very near to my heart...but it's not appropriate for this forum/site. People do all kinds of things "in the name of God" and claim it as a Godly action, but that doesn't make it true. Here's an example- the OP claiming to be a devout Christian while plotting detailed revenge for someone insulting him on a former Dolphins forum. In the modern world we focus on SO MANY THINGS that don't matter because that's what society tells us to do. Sin is basically the new normal these days and this just isn't a Godly world.

Again, I'd love to go into details but it would probably end with someone getting banned. So I'm out of this conversation. =)
