    1 15.903 (8 - 0) New Orleans Saints - 1
At the season's halfway mark the Saints clearly look like the league's best. They currently hold the leagues easiest overall schedule. With only 3 remaining games against teams with a .500 record or better, it looks like the road to the Superbowl for the NFC will have to go through the Superdome.

    2 13.403 (8 - 0) Indianapolis Colts - 4
They come to the halfway point with the 3rd easiest games played so far, but only 1 of their remaining 8 opponents has a record below .500 and that is division rival Tennessee.

    3 12.825 (6 - 2) Denver Broncos - 2
They've dropped the last two. But going 6-2 with the league's 5th toughest schedule through mid-season keeps them in the top 3.

    4 11.075 (6 - 2) Pittsburgh Steelers - 6
The defending champs have ripped off 5 straight wins. They'll need to make it 6 in a row against the visiting Bengals and avoid a season sweep from their AFC North foes. It may be their biggest remaining game since they face no other team after the Bengals currently above .500.

    5 10.750 (7 - 1) Minnesota Vikings - 3
How do they rank below 6-2 Broncos and Steelers? Victories against 1-7 Browns, Lions, and Rams.

    6 10.483 (6 - 2) Cincinnati Bengals - 5
Easily the biggest game of the season for the Bengals this weekend. They've swept division rival Baltimore, and a win in Pittsburgh would give them a 5-0 record in the AFC North. They have a mix of opponents to end the season with, but 4 of them are against the Raiders, Browns, Lions and Chiefs.

    7 9.083 (6 - 2) Dallas Cowboys - 13
I'm not sure what to make of the Cowboys. Their victory against Philly was their first victory against an opponent over .500. Was that game more about how inconsistent Philly is? Or have the Cowboys finally woken up?
    8 8.500 (6 - 2) New England Patriots - 9
Only 1 victory against a team over .500 (Atlanta) but they can earn some points with a victory in Indy on Sunday night.

    9 8.181 (5 - 3) Arizona Cardinals - 12
The defending NFC Champs are another team I can't figure out. They've had victories against teams playing about as average as themselves, but 2 of 3 losses came against teams currently below .500.

    10 8.125 (5 - 3) Atlanta Falcons - 10
The Falcons are not ready for prime time. 5 victories came against teams at .500 or below and 3 losses came against the teams above .500.

    11 7.060 (5 - 4) Houston Texans - 11
    12 6.713 (4 - 4) Baltimore Ravens - 7
    13 6.528 (5 - 3) Philadelphia Eagles - 8
    14 5.778 (5 - 3) San Diego Chargers - 20
    15 5.435 (5 - 4) New York Giants - 14
    16 4.275 (4 - 4) Chicago Bears - 16
    17 4.240 (4 - 4) New York Jets - 17
    18 3.875 (3 - 5) Miami Dolphins - 19
How did the Dolphins move up 1 spot despite losing in week 9? Not one of their first 7 opponents lost a game in week 9. (Bills and Jets had a bye, the other 4 won their game)

    19 3.083 (3 - 5) San Francisco 49ers - 18
    20 3.063 (4 - 4) Green Bay Packers - 15
    21 2.403 (4 - 4) Jacksonville Jaguars - 23
    22 2.188 (3 - 5) Carolina Panthers - 21
    23 1.333 (3 - 5) Buffalo Bills - 22
    24 1.000 (3 - 5) Seattle Seahawks - 25
    25 0.208 (2 - 6) Tennessee Titans - 26
    26 -0.083 (2 - 6) Oakland Raiders - 24
    27 -2.563 (1 - 7) Cleveland Browns - 27
    28 -3.792 (1 - 7) Kansas City Chiefs - 29
    29 -3.917 (2 - 6) Washington Redskins - 30
    30 -3.938 (1 - 7) Detroit Lions - 28
    31 -3.938 (1 - 7) St. Louis Rams - 31
    32 -3.979 (1 - 7) Tampa Bay Buccaneers - 32

So the .672. Is this the average win percent of the teams we have played so far this season? (TOUGHEST)

And the .566 is how tough our remaining schedule is?

If this is how i think i see it thats not good only one team, Carolina has a tougher remaining schedule than the Dolphins.

Wheres the good news? I want good news.

.566 is the 16 game strenght of schedule. .672 is just the first 8 games. I haven't modified for remaining schedule.

But by simple deduction, the remaining 8 games will be "easier" than the first 8 games. There's the good news!
