The "Win Now" window is slowly closing.

If by slowly, you really mean slamming down on your fingers, then yes. Lol

I had hopes for him, but it didn't work out. He hasn't gotten any better, and now he's constantly injured. Yet another Grier draft pick that doesn't earn a second contract.

We will get a third round pick as compensation in 2026 draft. (If he leaves via free agency at the conclusion of the season.) That is as much as we would ever get by trading him.... So it is all good.

Pure speculation. If you read it they have no idea even IF the Broncos want him. It's crap reporting.

I generally hate these articles... Almost as much as the trade ideas that get listed as actual trades...grrrr

That said we will not keep Holland he is as good as gone.

If he signs a big deal somewhere, while we don't sign an equal free agent. That does seem likely, but its not guaranteed.

As Unlucky said, he started out with so much promise, everyone was touting him as a perennial pro bowler, etc. but he never really took that next step to earn those early accolades. Very disappointed in his career to this point, was expecting more. Not sure if he started believing the hype or if he got lost with the constant upheaval at the DC position.

Changes in the coaching staff and scheme haven't helped, I'm sure, but a good player needs to be able to still function. And honestly, I'm not sure what it is that he's done well the last two seasons.

Interceptions aren't everything, but he hasn't had a single one in 33 straight team games, the last coming vs PIT over two years ago. He doesn't deflect many passes either, with just two this season and four last year. He takes questionable angles in coverage far too often, flat out bad angles in the run game, and only tackles well when he can completely square up the guy and hit him straight on.

So if someone else wants to pay him a ton of money, fine. Maybe he does what Minkah Fitzpatrick did and goes to a team with a good coaching staff and scheme and plays like an All Pro. It could happen. But it doesn't seem like its going to happen in Miami, so it doesn't matter.
