the pilot comes on after dexter this sunday. looks like it could be good. im assuming that most in here are fans of damien lewis. obviously Band of Brothers and some movie appearances. i also really enjoyed him in the short lived, but underrated NBC series "Life"

This one is getting better, and the first episode was pretty damn good to begin with. Claire Danes is awesome, and Mandy Patinkin is excellent, as always.
I hope they don't overplay the mental illness hand; if you give the character a limp it's an interesting plot device, but cut off a leg and it's just awkward.ToddsPhins likes this. -

the show is still on my mind. cant wait til sunday. the combo of this and dexter is awesome. i kept wracking my brain trying to figure out where i knew the guy that was helping Carrie out with surveillance and then looked it up. the guy played Detective Billings on The Shield

i hope you guys are still watching. the narrative took a really interesting turn in the last two shows. the dexter/homeland combo is the best in TV imo
the characters are outstanding. Saul is now taking a bigger role in the show. i have always liked Mandy Patinkin. he gives anything he is in credibility. carrie being brilliant but basically crazy and unstable/self-destructive is really good
so carrie has a fling with Brodie? i was like: where the hell are they going with this? that was nuts. then Brodie beats the lie detector. then he lies again about killing his fellow prisoner. not only is he still alive, but the POW that got turned! i was not expecting that at all. -
THe questioning, post sex, by carrie, juxtaposed with the sketch of the turned pow was pretty instense. Of course the twist was nicely done. Really good direction and acting in that scene. Also loved Saul relating to Ellie and breaking her down in that way. Good stuff.maynard likes this.

I'm not really sure I like the turn the show took in the last episode. I'm hooked though so I'll keep watching.
I don't watch TV shows but this one keeps me on the edge of my seat. -

I finished cathing up to the episodes this week. Well done and acted and really liked the start, last though not so much...
...because of the both the Brodie/Carrie hookup and Issa/Brodie storyline. Not that I have any problem with Brodie being turned as part of the story...just the story behind it was very weak. Walker alive was a surprise to me, but the creators from 24 are the few that do this to me. Although shouldn't have anymore as they love their moles and turncoat suprises...annoyingly overmuch to some degree...and re-branding Brodie fits their modus operandi. For a while thought it was going to be Saul w/ the razor blades, but thats back on Brodie now.
...but has been good enough to keep me watching the next few. Unless Jack Bauer shows up turned by terrorists.:chuckle: -
So from the scenes shown for the next two shows it appears
That Brodies plan with Nassir was for him to become a member of congress so he can suicide bomb the house while in session?..? If so quite a devious plan. -
last episode was outstanding. its not easy for a show to make you really feel for a character, but I did for Carrie when the CIA came into her house at the end.
btw, there will be a second season
the acting and direction of the show is top notch. prob. my favorite show
