I hope you all had a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you all are safe and healthy as well. Dolphins are doing well at 7-4, happy for them and I hope they make a deep run in the playoffs. I hope for a fast and full recovery for Tua. My Packers are 8-3 but have no run defense or really a defense as usual. Rodgers has been carrying them as usual. That’s been the story here since 2010. I hope our defense performs like a Top 10 unit before the playoffs start.

Hey ARodgers!
I think the coaching change has been the most significant thing for us so far. He still has to prove that he can win consistently but most people like most of what we're seeing from Flores.
Do you think Greenbay have found their coach for the foreseeable future?Irishman likes this. -
Thanks arodgers,
Always good to see you here. Your comments about the Bay bring to mind Dan Marino’s career. Hope you guys can give Aaron a decent defense before his time runs out.
For us.
1) Most people are convinced Coach Flores is the real deal. While there have been some complaints about the Xs and Os especially on the offensive side the team has good discipline, has younger players developing (including some unheralded ones), and the team is playing with good effort. Reminiscent in some ways of the Don Shula days where you felt confident that the players would do their best every week and the next man up filled in the hole.
2) Jury is still out on Tua. No one has changed much from their pre-draft positions. I’m no expert on QB play, so take my opinion with a bag of salt, and I would say he is playing pretty good for a rookie. -

I think it's a little bit rude to sum up the opinion of people who have concerns about Tua by saying that is even remotely what we expect or why we have concerns.
Now dont get me wrong, I could be 100% wrong about the subject but it's still pretty misleading to claim that is my, or anyone elses stance/reason. Even though I do understand you may have been exaggerating to make a point. -
It's like if he said people who like bananas are insane. I could say he was talking about me and people like me. -
Actually, I was 'voicing' [writing] my opinion from observations (in person and on boards such as this,) that over the past 50 years of watching the Dolphins play, even when I lived in South Florida, there were people who could not wait to jump on any failure of the Dolphins to play absolutely, completely inerrant, football as a sure sign of anything from the firing of the head coach to the coming universal apocalypse, which would cause some to drudge around as if they were pulling a plow in rocky soil without benefit of a mule [let alone a tractor].
Conversely, there were others who would celebrate as if that day was Christmas and their all time favorite gift was awaiting them under the tree or even out in the driveway. This was notably true in the early days when someone who had moved to South Florida to escape the inclement winter weather would jubilantly crow about their Giants, Redskins, Patriots, Steelers, Bills, etc., etc., etc. each and every time we ran into them anywhere, or even possibly have the chutzpa to call on the phone during the game! Such was the life of a lot of early Dolphins fan in South Florida.Irishman likes this. -

Going to try and get out to see another GB game next year, if vaccine and travel restrictions allow. -

Been a super tough year for me so I haven't been active here a lot. Long story short, my dad's been chronically sick and I had to move him in with me a few months back to care for him 24/7. He's at that age where his remaining time is limited, so that's been our entire focus since about March.
