Guys I know everyone has praised Ginn for his catch, Henne for his great Arm and the R & R express, but our front five needs some love. Jake Grove earned every bit of his contract with his play against Jenkins. Those guys did not allow one sack and opened holes all night. I think it is safe to say Miami's Whales are gelling and earning every penny.

Lets give Miami's Killer Whales some Love

That O line was a monster tonight......now with Henne under center with his big arm, they should be even more effective in the run game.

I was going to start this thread....

I have to say that tonights game was the best complete game I have "ever" seen the Fins OL play. We have had very good run blocking OL's in the past and we have had some very good pass protection OL's in the past but it has been very rear when we have had an OL that can do both.

Tonight they play just about a prefect game.... the only two mistakes I can think of was the hold by Grove and his false start.

Amazing game by that O-line, I wonder if the fact Long blocked for Henne all of his college career and now in the Pro's has anything to do with It.

They deserve much respect. After the Bills sacked Henne 6 times, I admit I was scared of the Jet's blitz schemes, but man, our Line didn't even allow a finger to be laid on Henne. And not enough can be said about the run blocking. We just may have the best run blocking and physical line in the league.

    i'll go with 23 and his ORCA -5 ...

who's missing Samson Satele now ...

if this line stays healthy for next few years .... wow ... the only one we'd have to replace would be Smiley (unless he can stay healthy).

Our line played great, Ill stick to the Killer Whales. Orca's sounds soft plus Orca's are kinda cute and some are considered Dolphins.

posted as a thread earlier this morning:
    orca-5, offensive line

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the beginning I said the offensive line would take about four games to hit their stride. Well, the Orca-5 have arrived big time, winning the line of scrimmage, opening holes for the run game, holding their own & protecting the QB on passing downs, against one of the best defenses in the NFL.
As I said before, as goes this offense line, so goes the season.
Kudos to the Orca-5: Long, Smiley, Grove, Thomas, Carey

we are the AFCE Champions & the road to the SuperBowl passes right through LandSharkStadium.

great game Miami they won't be so happy to us the second time round
Did you hear the Rex Ryan interview after the game?
How about the looks on the players faces as they walked off the field?
    Priceless!

An Orca is a killer whale. The two terms mean exactly the same thing.

The Orca-5 does sound Catchy, maybe we should ask Sid to ask on his show what should we name the line and have fans select.

All around great play by the line. The blitz managed to get some penetration two or three times, but they had to throw the entire kitchen sink at us, which is always going to leave at least a man or two open down the field.

This game solidified what a lot of us already knew. Those O-line dollars are definitely paying off and are really showing that the shaky start we saw in the first game or two doesn't matter.
