Pretty sick play!! https://dolphinswire.usatoday.com/2...acle-touchdown-leads-to-dolphins-victory/amp/
WOW! I stopped watching once we went down 10 thinking there was no chance with 5th stringers. I had no idea we won the game, LOL.
Bengals were in FG range to tie the game. Just went for it on Fourth Down so they didn't have to go to OT. Lots of improbable **** going on in this game. The Dolphins don't need him, but giving him a full game to show his stuff will help him get a job moving forward.
Do they even have overtime in pre-season? I know that's been changed several times over the past 5-10 years. They should have kicked the darn field goal, LOL! I agree with you though, Sinnett showed enough to be considered a serviceable NFL backup that grows under a solid QB1. I hope we keep him, even if it's practice squad, but I would expect him to land on another roster that doesn't have enough depth. I highly doubt we roll into the regular season with three quarterbacks on the active roster.
Great throw and an even better catch! That game should keep him employed in the NFL somewhere, would be nice if it was here.
I can't lie and pretend that exhibition season is of any real interest to me. With that being said, I turned the game on in the middle of the third quarter and was rewarded for doing it. We have a problem with Stinnett, now because even if he makes it to the practice squad, he's not going to be there for long. But it sure sounds nice to say that we have a couple of competent backup QBs after seasons when it was hard to suggest that we had any.
Loved it and I have actually been impressed with him in the little bit I have seem from him. I would love to somehow keep him on the roster because I think he can be our Tom Brady story and take us to win the next 26 Superbowls. You think?
