How DUMB must Ryan Clark feel? I find it hysterical that Ryan Clark had his chance to be a Fin but turned it down. He uses a visit to Dolphins to bait the Steelers into extending him a new contract. I believe he though the Dolphins were going no where and he was better off staying in Pittsburgh. However, now we have Dansby (who was here before his visit) and Marshall. On the other hand the Steelers are imploding loosing Holmes and Big Ben is involved in scandals which may result possible facing suspension. I bet hes feeling pretty dumb today. I think if we had signed Marshall before his visit I think he would of signed with Miami. I'm happy he chose otherwise. Erick Berry or Earl Thomas here we come.
Disagree. I think he's feeling pretty good about himself. He got his contract extension and got to stay in Pittsburgh where he wanted to.
He never wanted to be a Phin He just wanted more money from the Steelers and thats what he got But i dont care. When he gets ran over by Ronnie Brown ill laugh
Lol do you really think Ryan Clark gives a ****? He is a multi-millionaire dollar athlete who has already achieved the ultimate goal in his given sport (Super Bowl). And not that Brandon Marshall doesn't greatly improve our chances at competing for a play-off spot or more, he doesn't automatically put us in the Super Bowl. At the end of the day, Clark signed got the contract he was looking for, by the team he was looking to play for, and he will most likely retire with the team he has chosen to retire with.
Maybe it'll work out for the best; Clark's shown himself to be thin skinned insulting both the Steeler fans and overly-critical (according to him) media. Without Polomolu to compensate for his shortcomings, it's also revealed the cracks in his game, especially in coverage. Not to say he wouldn't have been an improvement over what he have, but his expectations of earning elite money for a slightly better than average safety were just unrealistic.
