I went to a game once by myself. Drove 3.5 hours there and back.

I've quit a job because they wanted me to work on Sunday

 

They used to call me "Miami Mike" in college when I wore my Sunday outfit: aqua shirt, orange shorts, aqua and orange socks, and orange cap.

 

I love the Dolphins as much as anybody, but to tell you the truth if working / life in general conflicted with football that meant my mortgage, my son or anything to do with my family had an issue I would never watch another down of football and that I can guarantee.

I certainly don' t like my job more than football, quite the opposite, but the job is what keeps everything I do love in motion.

 

back in november when I was jobless I was offered a job so long as I attended a training course on the same day at the Dolphins Seahawks game that my fam had bought me tickets for for graduation. Needless to say, I said no thanks, enjoyed our amazing trip, and even managed to secure an interview for another job (that i ended up getting) while sitting in a restaraunt in miami beach.

and I just found out that I'm scheduled to work for my newest job on the same day as the chargers game this year. this job I wouldn't be willing to part with, but I'm gonna tell my boss he can give me the crappiest shifts he wants to in exchange for me to be able to go.

 

I killed 7 guys one night in a bar fight because they said the undefeated season wasn't a big deal.

 

I won't eat Tuna that's not Dolphin safe.

 

i sold Warp's bung hole in exchange for a hand shake from a high level Dolphins player.

 

I get wood when I see a Dolphins billboard / commercial.

 

snort.. something as sloppy as the tunnels under A1A at Haulover Beach park couldn't have gotten you much more than a waterboy handshake.. you must have sweetened the deal with Preparation H to tighten things up

I actually just accepted a promotion that has me working Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. I am giving up my Razorbacks season tickets.

Here is the sweet thing though, they wanted me to take it so much that they told me that I can watch the Dolphins game while at work and even be on here chatting.

Sometimes I love my company!
