Hey Guys
We recently put a bunch of tilapia in our pond to help control the weeds / algae. We want to fish them out before winter hits but aren't quite sure the best method.
The pond is already full of bluegill - to the point where you can practically catch them with an empty hook - so I'm trying to find something that wouldn't interest the bluegill but would do a good job of fishing out the tilapia.
Any recommendations?
Thanks!
(Also - I'm up in Ohio - not sure if that changes anything, but thought I should throw that out there.)

Once that's all done, pat yourself on the back for a job well done. Easy.DeDolfan, jupiterfin, McLovin and 8 others like this. -
Small generator
1 wooden pole with copper line attached at the top
2 pieces of rebar driven into the bank..
You'll figure out the rest...:shifty:
Or if you can, use a cast net and keep the tilpaia and toss the blue gill backPhiNomina likes this. -
