just wanted to see what you guys thought our roster would look like in 08, so here's mine:
QB- pennington ( fa ), beck, lemon, maybe later round pick in the draft?
RB- brown, booker, williams ( i hope ), chatman
FB- mauia
TE- davis, peele
WR- johnson (trade), ginn jr, booker, hagan
LT- carey
LG- mormino
C- satele
RG- hadnot
RT- starks ( more likely wishful thinking, but i assume we will pick somebody up in the draft, if not there's always shelton)
DE- roth
DE- holliday
DT- haynesworth (FA)
LB- taylor
LB- thomas
LB- crowder
LB- porter
LB- gholston
( the reason i have 5 is because i think one of taylor, or thomas will be forced out, hope its taylor)
CB- fA pickup or through draft
CB- allen
S- allen
S- bell

Hadnot and Lemon are goners. Also forget about Haynesworth...theposition is a need and his talent is huge, but Parcells doesn't bend on character.

I say Marty Booker & Lemon may be gone... I also don't think Vonnie fits into Parcells defense..

i think we take too much of a cap hit if we release vonnie in 08. Marty, i think hes a goner and Lime, good riddens

Davis, the TE from USC, would be a nice pickup....I think he could be our 32nd pick unless we take a CB. :up:

But didn't we resign Vonnie for a pretty big contract last season? I don't see us signing any big name FAs but I would be thrilled if we landed one of the big FA CBs out there. Also the Chad Johnson trade won't happen, no way the Bengals can trade away a top 3 WR unless he starts to become a TO type distraction.Last edited: Jan 4, 2008

32 to me looks like its TE/LB/OT -
I think Greg Olsen, the Bears TE from the U. of Miami, lasted until the 31st pick last year, and he was the first TE off the board.

that would be awsome if this could be our team i think that we might Pick up Marcus Trufant Or draft Cason for the other coner spot and i dont think that booker and Lemon will be here next year and i also dont think that Pennington is going to be here but other then that this would be an awsome team

my 2 cents.....what are we giving to get Chad? Also, how are we gonna get Gholston plus Davis? they're both 1st rounders and Davis should be gone way before our pick at 32.
In my opinion, Zach,JT and Crowder don't fit on a 3-4 defence that Bill likes.I can see us getting a corner in free agency but more likely we'll draft one....a big NT is needed but again, that could be draft day pick up...what I could see is us getting a WR in free agency and maybe a safety.
