How will Parcells regard Beck? Maybe this point has been hit on in another mammoth post...maybe not. Maybe it won't ultimately matter what Parcells thinks of Beck, if he does relegate all GM duties to his GM. Anyhow, what is a Parcells type QB? I don't necessarily think of gunslinging athletes. Intelligent decision makers who protect the ball seem to be more his speed. John Beck with Bill Parcells looming about, could be a nice fit. Granted Beck seemed aweful over his short stretch, but he did not receive much support from his O-line and skill positions to be fair. I'm not sure if we're gonna scramble for a vet FA, or address the position in the draft, or will there be a nice union between the two? Just a thought on a late uneventful Saturday night. Opinions?
I think he expects the coaches to work with Beck. His job will be to choose which coach that will be.
