I got a Hp laptop for x-mas and I got to listen to a video on youtube and there was no sound. The sound is on max so. Can anybody help.
Update it play sound through head phones put not through the speakers

look around for your tool bar.. mine is on the bottom.. there is a little speaker icon.. my bet is it's on muteKanye West likes this. -

Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Sound and Audio Devices and make sure that it's not on mute there. Also make sure that "Place Volume Icon in Taskbar" is checked. Then go to "Advanced" under "Speaker Settings" and make sure the laptop speakers are selected in the dropdown menu. Let me know if this didn't work.

I had interview for a job with Firedog once. I have never laughed so hard after an interview. All they cared about was if I had the sales experience to sale services and software with computers. The guy said ,"If you sale really well, we may put you on the work bench fixing computers.". :pointlol: -
I dont have it any more they took it. There was not sound.
