A weird 7th round prospect I want to watch is QB Ostrander from Stanford. The guy had a seizure earl;ier this year and sat on the sidelines but I want to see what he brings to the table. A 7th or free aganet pickup might be interesting value

Jason Shirley the DT, he had off the field troubles, nothing particularly serious, but if he slides back in the draft he could be the sort of gem DT picked up in the 6th rd or so ala Rod Wright.
Besides, the Airplane bits would never stop "Don't call me Surely"....:lol: -
I'm not too enthusiastic about Ostrander. Of course, I'm still simmering from being rejected by Stanford (only college to reject my app) so that would explain some of it (though I took much delight in seeing them destroyed time and time again. And my Stanford football curse is still going strong after 4 years :D). After seeing Ostrander play against us, I wasn't impressed. Didn't do much until the game was well out of reach.
I'm looking at the Guards on this roster, notably the Samoans Satele and Tevaga. Of course, with Mueller and Houck gone, the Samoan love may be gone too but these guards are top notch. Tevaga had a chance to be one of the top guards before his injury and the fact that he had to block for a team's 3rd and 4th string RB's as well as a WR acting as emergency QB. But when healthy, he would be a prototypical Houck OG. -
The mighty Samoans!!!! I saw them and you're right they are definitely worth a look. So Ostrander sux. OK. I missed catching him this season. Cool for the revenge factor though lol

Really not sure what to make of Marcus Fitzgerald, mainly to the complete inconsistly of Marshalls QB Bernard Morris.
On one series Bernie looks like an all-pro, the next series hes the second coming of Reggie Ball. -
at the risk of dissing the Hula Bowl, I would have thought that Yvenson Bernard and Shannon Tevaga were a bit high-profile to be playing in a game like this. Both will be steals for whoever drafts them
