Here is a look at the most noteworthy prospects:

RB Javarris James (6-foot 1/4, 215 pounds) ran a 4.59 and 4.63 in the 40-yard dash, had a 4.24-second short shuttle, a 7.07-second three-cone drill and stood on his vertical jump, broad jump and bench press numbers from the NFL Scouting Combine.

TE Dedrick Epps (6-3 5/8, 246) ran 4.75 and 4.70 in the 40, had a 33-inch vertical jump, a 9-foot, 2-inch broad jump, a 4.42 short shuttle, a 7.31 three-cone drill and did not do the bench press.

OT Jason Fox (6-6 3/4, 305) ran a 5.45 in his first 40, but pulled his left hamstring in his second one. That ailment kept him from doing the short shuttle or three-cone drill. He did have a 29 1/2-inch vertical jump, an 8-5 broad jump, and 25 bench press repetitions at 225 pounds.

TE Jimmy Graham (6-6 3/8, 262) had a 4.39 short shuttle and did 15 bench press reps. He kept the rest of his numbers from the combine.

LB Darryl Sharpton (5-11 3/4, 230) ran 4.74 and 4.76 in the 40, had a 31-inch vertical jump, a 10-1 broad jump, a 4.24 short shuttle, a 7.07 three-cone drill and did 26 bench press reps.

CB Sam Shields worked his way into draft consideration with an incredible workout. He ran the 40 in 4.30 and 4.33, had a 39-inch vertical jump, an 11-1 broad jump, a 4.19 short shuttle, a 6.79 three-cone drill and did 15 bench press reps

Sam Shields busting out a 4.3 flat 40 is impressive, the problem is he plays Cb, and not real well, meaning if he manages to be drafted he will be a kick returner..at best...or he will have to reconvert to Wr.

Too bad Sharpton did not perform a touch better, at 235ish high 4.7's are not optimal.

And I like Fox, but he has health issues.

May as well toss this one on here as well:

Defensive end Corey Wootton ran for scouts today during the Northwestern pro-day.

His times in the 40 ranged from 4.93-to-4.95 seconds. His ten times after each forty were 1.66-seconds and 1.71-seconds respectively. Wootton’s short shuttle time was 4.28 seconds while his three cone time was an unofficial 7-seconds flat, a terrific mark. His other marks included a vertical jump of 32-inches and 9’0’’ in the broad. Wootton measured 6060/272lbs to start the day. He did not bench today and stood on his combine mark.

He was later put through defensive end and linebacker drills. The consensus is Wootto, looked smooth.

Wootten is having a bad predraft period, toss in the knee issues and he could really slide on Draft Day, heck his measurables are no better than WY's John Fletcher.
