Where do you see anybody throwing a temper tantrum?I am just speaking the truth and you don't like it.Like I said explain to me how this team is better.Tannehill might have been good for 2-3 wins.I see zero improvement from last year.

I understand your logic. It's just flawed. What is your point? We should boycott the dolphins until they make the moves that you specifically want to see?

Wow you really believe this?Ajay was traded because he was a problem.Drake is the better back but gase had his love affair with williams.

Well our absolute best option at QB was Jay Cutler and we still won 6 games. That's basically a miracle, and I think with Tannehill under center we win at least 4 more games this year. It took Cutler about 6 weeks just to break into the system again, and even after that he showed that he's perfectly capable of tanking a game all by himself about half the time.

    So how does Gase win?

You admit he was a problem. He was traded for a decent return. The RB that came in to take Ajayi's reps played better than Ajayi did. What did you want to happen different?

I’m game. Would you eat at the same **** Restaurant that you used to love but it turned terrible over the course of a few years? No, you would stop patronizing the business in hopes it would eventually return to the way it used to be.

I have no agenda. There's always a bad egg in any profession. I've been arrested a good amount of times and never had a problem with police abusing their power outside of the old "I detect the odor of marijuana".

Yeah, you're right. Ajayi was traded exclusively because he was "a problem". It had nothing to do with the fact that Drake was the better option going forward and we got value from something we no longer needed.

Think whatever you like.I saw a team regress almost everywhere.Signing kiko and branch for.all that money was the 2 stupidest moves of the offseason.
Free country you feel they have progressed I feel they regressed.End of story and no point arguing anymore.

If fans were in control Cleveland and Kansas City would have multiple super bowls. It doesnt work that way. A few thousand people determine everything that happens in football. They are the ones who can demand outcomes. The rest of us are on the outside looking in and whether we watch or not, demand or not, we have no bearing on any of the outcome

If you were a Patriots fan.. would you boycott the NFL because a couple mediocre teams' fanbases are unsatisfied? This is a ludicrous idea. It will never happen the way the league is currently constructed.

As the Tv contracts are basically guaranteed it wouldn't matter who if anyone is watching as the networks are on the hook for that money. That's primarily how the owners are paying people or the lion's share as compared to tickets sales.

Point is, it all STEMS from the fans. There wouldn’t be networks or sponsors in the NFL if there is no fan viewership. I know it’s nearly impossible, however, I’m hypothetically speaking that if there wasn’t any fans, the NFL would be obsolete. Just like any business without clientele.

And it’s not just ticket sales, it’s the merch, the web, etc., that goes into their big *** corporate pockets.

This is called conjecture. This is why you get in trouble. You offer hot takes with no facts to back it up. Hyde at least offers a few facts and tries to make a point. Myself and others have expressed disappointment and dissatisfaction with te team this year, particularly Tannenbaum and yet somehow, no one even got an infraction. Facts...it’s your word of the day. They’re what you use to back an opinion up, particularly one that you know might be unpopular so people know you’re serious and offer an actual perspective backed by logic and reasoning. You can do it!

Literally a pointless observation. Every single thing falls into this.

As for the article ... hard to call Burke a mistake. He's not been some kind of ultra-genius, and if we had a shot at Wade Phillips and passed then THAT was an error. However, Burke has been alright. His unit is largely hampered by mediocre players and an offense that couldn't put together a drive.

Cutler wasn't a mistake, and neither was not having faith in Moore. The one big option that would have been better than Cutler/Moore would likely have been Kaep ... we all know that story, no need to rehash. Just talking from a ceiling and ability level.

Tunsil moving to tackle? I haven't been enthused, but need to give it some time to develop. He's improved, and has a ton of potential. Let's hope he can tap it. If we can get a solid Whitworth type signing at LT in FA though? Do it and bump him inside or to right.

The Alonso and Branch extensions were bad moves. I am not sold on Stills - he's a fine player, but that contract is a big one. Is Stills worth losing Landry? Is he worth sub-par guard play? That's the cost of that contract.

Timmons, bleh. He can go. Paycheck guy right now.

Thomas? Ugh. Need an upgrade there.

Ajayi? **** that dude, good riddance.

It was definitely a mixed bag this offseason, and you can certainly argue that we made too many big mistakes with contracts. But there was success, and with better QB play I think we can improve.

I also LOVE how all the "GASE IS AN EGOMANIAC!!!!" posters shut the hell up for a few weeks during wins. Now after a few losses, they are bad like clockwork.

Lastly ... people are REALLY BAD at confusing criticism with whining.

First of all the one that put the holes in the bucket is to blame. So stop doing that lol.

I'm really tired of everyone selecting the one time we got our crap together. Sure, so one good performance and he gets a pass for all year? I loved that win thought it was fantastic but there we were again the next week letting KC score all over us. . So, let's put down the dominant wins (games we won by more than 10 meaning the defense kept them from being able to mount a comeback). So, we have Denver game as one and n.....wait....we have only the denver game. The Pats almost came back and beat us. Even with our rub Bradys face in the dirt, we couldn't get more than a TD ahead of them when time ran out. BUT, lets not quibble and we'll adjust it down to wins of four points or more. So we than have Denver, Pats, and wait....no other win was by more than four points. Lets hope we beat the Bills this week by more than 4. So that'll give us a third. So, that means 3 out of 16 games Burk's D actually did their job. Plus in many cases we got totally blown out. Yes, it is the D's job to stop the offense from scoring. I hope we can at least agree on that.

How do you live in a world where the DC in charge of the defense can fail at his job 13 out of 16 times and it not be his fault. If you're a chef and your line cook misses something and serves something with glass or metal sticking out of it and it injures a customer it's the chef's fault for not training his staff well enough (also the line cook's fault). If you own a landscaping company and one of the guys weed whacks your car it's the fault of the landscaping company and the landscaper. Better training should have happened and you'll probably fire them as a company. If you're on an airplane and the captain has been drinking and decides to play slalom with the mountains is it not the airlines fault for letting him fly the plane as well as the captains fault? In all of these scenarios there is incompetence on the part of the actual employee (player ) and their manager who should have provided training better. In all of these situations both parties would be held accountable for both their actions as well as their inability to enforce their standards and hire better people. This is the way the whole world works. Why would it be any different in Football. Burk had a cushy job and an expectation. Keep the other team from scoring as often as possible. He sucks at that job. He should be held accountable. I think Gase also sucks at his job as the play caller as again, we only outscored three teams (one if we do it against Buffalo on Sunday) by more than four points.

    This ^ is the problem.

Waiting a long time and being disappointed has precisely 0 to do with the problems each year's team has had. It makes no sense to scream about what should happen with next year's team based solely on your decades long disappointment.

DO you really think I care about getting in trouble? It's a Dolphins fan forum like you get that right? This isn't some barometer of how my life is going. It's for fun. Every fact is then shot down to be an inaccurate prognosticator of success at ZYX. SO, who wants to spend the time to put the work in. FACT we lost more games than we won. FACT we had no plan at QB besides hoping the T-Hills gimp knee somehow would make it. FACT we promoted the LB coach who fielded a historically bad run defense to DC. FACT Gase acts like a little emo jerk in his pressers. What am I saying that needs backing up???? Show me where you need support for those things? Do you need photos? Do we need to get hooked on phonics in here to help some of you get it?

There are 100 dolphin fan forums. Id suggest you find one that wants that kind of post habits. Your silly little quips dont change the way things have been done for the last decade here. You can adapt to the way things are done, or leave. Making blanket statements, repeating the same things over and over with little context is why people keep calling you dirty. Its useless, repetitive and frankly brings nothing to the conversation. You complain about facts being shot down, which personally Ive never seen you do, but if that is whats happening than you arent putting the right context around those facts to help people understand or make them want to agree with your point of view. Additionally, you talked about this being a Dolphins fan site....thats exactly why if youre going to piss in peoples cheerios you should have some actual meaning to your posts!

You talked about Burke specifically, how promoting him was a poor choice (i dont disagree). What I am saying is, you can have the conversation a handful of ways talking about scheme flaws, talking about who you would have hired and why, talking about specific personnel that arent cutting it. Bring something that isnt obvious or generic to the table. Than maybe hooked on phonics wouldnt be necessary.

Because Drake was a young player that they were trying to develop the right way. And for the record, Williams looked damn good in the few games he got in before getting hurt. All those little outlet passes after blocking really opened things up bigtime...and that's something that wasn't even an option with Ajayi.

It really doesn't make any sense at all- especially since we've had close to ten coaches over the past 20 years. Gase can''t do a darn thing about 2005 or 2012, but he can definitely do something about week 17 in 2017 and decisions moving forward to 2018. That's the difference between a coach and a fan though- Gase is no longer thinking about the Pats or Chiefs. Every week is solely focused on the next game up....that's the only thing that you can control.

Nobody here likes losing...except maybe for a few that recently got banned. But if you're going to stay mad at a team for what they did last week, last year or the last decade, then what's the point of even watching football? 96% of all NFL teams fail to win the Super Bowl every year...only 1 in 32 achieve total victory. That's 31 losers every season- do you think Atlanta celebrates making it three rounds deeper in the playoffs than we did last year? Heck no, their fans are just as pissed off.

All we can do is what the coaches do- get ready for the next kickoff and hope that we've made enough adjustments to win.

31 teams buts its been almost 50 years since we won a SB....

No, it makes sense, as a franchise we are behind the eight ball. We need to start having winning seasons on a consistent basis. No more “have patience”, that’s dead and gone.

In the past 15 years, ten total teams have won the Super Bowl. Go back another 15 years (so the past 30 years total) and you're only adding three more teams to that list. That's a little more than 1/3rd of the league that's been a Super Bowl champ since 1987. And if we keep going, all the way back to the Dolphins in 1973/1974.....we're at 15 total different team victors over 44 years.

In other words, we're still ahead of over half the league in the past 50 years with our two Super Bowl wins. Only 12 teams have won more than we have....as crazy as that may seem.

Im not trying to be mean or anything, but I haven’t seen any of that, I was born in 90 and can remember back to like 97-98 and all I can say is, it hasn’t been pretty since I been alive/aware. Outside of 3-4 years, it’s been average, bad, and ugly, and it’s not like in those 3-4 years we were actual contenders anyways. What they did for my elders in their era is great and to have that type of history inside my favorite teams organization is also cool but only so satisfying to an extent because that was their era, not mine. (Disclaimer: if anyone was alive to see them win a SB, please, please, don’t ever tell me to be patient, you guys definitely aren’t the ones allowed to say it with all due respect)

I’m a Phillies fan, and they are horrible right now but I can live with the fact they won a World Series in my time, same thing with the Heat. Seeing that was amazing. Dolphins haven’t even been relevant to the NFL for just about 3/4 of my life. I’ve been more then patient for the past 20 years.

Also, I don’t care for any other NFL team.

Well I am 50 and the last thing I would do is tell you to be patient.I was only 5 and 6 but I did see a couple of superbowl wins and a few down years before the marino era.The marino era was so exciting compared to this garbage we have been forced to watch for most of the last 16 or 17 years.I brainwashed my son who is now 20 to be a finfan and I regret it everyday.Would have been better letting him be a eagles fan especially now.The eagles have a bright future if wentz can get healthy and the dolphins I expect the same threading water bull**** of the 2000s.

So are you saying we should all be ok with not going to the super bowl in over 30 years or not winning it in over 40 years because of the stat you just posted?
