Hypothetically speaking...what would Yeremiah Bell's trade value be?

Anyone think we could trade a 2012 3rd round pick + Bell for a late 2011 2nd round pick? I doubt we could, but I would assume we could probably trade a 2012 2nd + Bell for a late 2011 2nd. At this point, I would do that in a heartbeat with all the talent in this year's draft.

Also, I know everyone loves Yeremiah and I love him too, but the fact of the matter is, we have the same type of player as him in Reshad Jones. Not great against the pass, but pretty solid against the run and in the box. Jones is also a lot younger and Bell seems to be on a decline. I would love to get what we can out of him now, while he still holds any value, even if we owe him some money.

We could run Clemons at FS, who showed some signs of potential this year and have Jones play SS. If Jones doesn't play well, then we can always go to our backup plan: Tyrone Culver, who I still like a lot.

    yay or nay?

I'll only trade Yeremiah Bell if we are moving up in the draft for a quarterback.

Since we can't trade players for picks until a new CBA is in place.....no.

I really dont think Bell has any tangible trade value. I just dont see anyone giving up more then a 5th round pick for a guy that has a couple three more years left.

5th round pick at the most, imo.
