We've been doing this same bull**** since 1996. I can't take it anymore. With 9 minutes to go in the 4th quarter I told my friend exactly how the game would end and that's exactly how it ended. Because that's how every ****ing game has gone for us for a ****ing decade and a half. It never changes. It doesn't matter who the coach is, who the QB is or anything. Same **** different season and I just can't understand why we never change our ways. We played Sparano ball the whole ****ing second half and it bit us in the *** like it always does. I just can't keep doing this every Sunday.

jeez. I understand we're all upset, but stop overreacting. the loss sucked. but Tannehill looked outstanding most of the game, so did Hartline. We lost on the road, in OT against a 4-0 team with a really good defense.

You can keep watching the games... I'd just wait 24 hours before you visit the Internet.

If you think we were playing Sparano ball the second half, you were watching the wrong game.

This is not a bad team. That's what makes this more frustrating. They outperformed Arizona for the most part on both sides of the ball. My biggest mistake is letting myself believe this team is going to do something outside of piss me off. I am not going to let them ruin my Sundays this fall and winter.

Sure it can. Tannehill can look like pure *** without showing much potential at all. I thought the majority felt like this team was awful yet, we are 1-3 with 2 OT losses.Pandarilla likes this. -
Plain and simple.
We Are Losers!
It just seems like something happens to franchise's at time that just make them flat out losers, and that is what Miami is into. We look and search for ways to lose a game. When games like this get close the whole franchise has the same reaction....were going to lose. The players, the coach's, the owner, the fans. Top to bottom we all know in our heart that we are going to lose. We know that we are going to get that terrible feeling in our stomach. We can already feel before that coin toss that sadness and heavy hearted feeling of a loss. We are losers top to bottom.
I wish and dream of a day that I don't feel that way, but I have felt this for years. I describe it as the feeling of being a Dolphins fan, disappointment.Trowa likes this. -
4 players with career days. We had guys playing flat out the best football they've ever played. And for what?
This franchise hasn't been relevant since 1996 and through it all I've been a rabid Dol-fan. Now...I just don't know. I want to believe we can turn it around but it's been 16 years of the same thing. A decade and a half of losing weighs on you as a fan. -
I agree it sucks to lose these close games like always, but...we are headed in the right direction. Sure we need secondary help and besides our top 2 receivers we are very thin. We have the building blocks in place to build a winner. Pouncey is awesome, Tannehill looks legit, and our run D is phenomenal. I believe we will be serious contenders by at the very least 2014.

It does seem like this team has awful luck. The ball just doesn't bounce our way.

I hope they leave Mike Sherman at the airport. :wink2:jsizzle likes this. -
You buttercreamers can just stay on your side of the coin, clapping at the effort and shnit like that. Dudes right, it was obvious how this was going to go. But hey, let's applaud another loss.Trowa likes this. -
I'm probably more of a pessimist (picked the Cardinals and envied those who were so optimistic), but calm down. No offense but someone after a close loss saying they "can't do it anymore" is pretty common around here, and everyone knows 99% aren't going anywhere. Just give it some time to channel out, look at the positives of playing a decent team tough on the road, the amount of pressure we got on Kolb, and Tannehill's progression.
You're right, you'll probably regret this thread once your emotions stabilize. I expect we're likely to have a few more heartbreakers this year, but also some wins to be proud of. -
Totally get where you're coming from. I defiantly get over emotional and say eff this team. But to me at least, this year just looks different. I truly believe we have a qb to build around and we have never had that since the Marino days.

This is really sickening to hear. Football is supposed to be an entertainment, a way to enjoy some of life's pleasures.
Tannehill as great. We might have found our future QB. Hartline had a great day as did Sean Smith. Keep it in perspective people. They make a whole heck of a lot more money than mist of us will ever make. If they can blow it off, we should too.
If this game is causing us so much stress, maybe we should get out more often, you know, get to know the wife and kids. :wink2: -
although it is the same result year after year, the QB situation is looking very positive. I think this decade long miasma of suckitude is finally going to come to an end. Unfortuantely for us, probably not this year

I do like the direction of our team ultimately as we aren't nearly as incomplete of a team as most of us had thought...but still 2 OT losses in a row is going to send fans in a frenzy. The Rev likes this. -
