Smash Bros brawl is a fantastic fighter.
Mario Kart Wii is a lot of fun, you and her could enjoy that together.
^^These two are the must haves.

The rest is dependant on what kind of games you like.
Super Paper Mario and Super Mario Galaxy are two very awesome platformers, if you're interested in mario games.
Twilight Princess is probably the best single player experience on the system.
Metroid 3 is the best shooter on the system, although the metroid games move at a snails pace in comparison to other shooters.

And if you're interested in the virtual console, obviously there's tons of awesome games on there.

 

I haven't played it but after researching it a little i certainly wouldn't buy it. Maybe give it a rental?

House of the dead 2 and 3 (combined game) is an awesome arcade classic and its cheap. 29.99 i beleive. It's got outdated graphics cause its an old game, but the controls work well and its fun. Plus they just came out with a new House of the dead game called Overkill, which is supposed to be great.

Call of Duty 5 is actually pretty well done on the wii, it's just not as pretty as it's next gen counterparts but plays well. And Medal of Honor Heroes 2 isn't bad either.

Nah its just the gun. Remote clicks in on top and the trigger pulls the wiimotes trigger. Its really good for shooters.

Thats great that she likes zombie shooters then, you've got your pick.

 

Lies. You can't possibly be having fun since there are no good games on Wii to enjoy unless you're under the age of 8, a soccer mom or elderly.

Madden on the Wii is alot of fun. COD is a good game and the gun makes it that much more interactive. I haven't tried the resident evil games, but I heard that they were pretty decent as well.

 

When I had my Wii, I played this game the most...

I enjoy Madden on the Wii. I agree that Mario Kart Wii is a must. If I wasn't addicted to Madden right now I would be playing battle mode constantly.

How's house of the dead play? I about picked it up but got talked out of it from my buddy (said Wii isn't good for lightgun games) and ay still go pick it up if he's proven wrong. That was a SERIOUSLY hard (but fun) game in arcades....like over the top hard.

 

I have played the Cabela's games on pc and 360 and they are not much to write home about. Maybe being a hunter I have different expectations but they kinda blew. I would rent one 1st before I would buy it.
