Ok, I may be the only one on this but I'll say it anyway. Last year's team could have easily had around 12 or 13 wins. Outside of games we obviously got our butts handed to us, we lost games we should've won. Some of those games we should've win by a touchdown or less while others by 2-3 touchdowns. I look at games like Detroit, Green Bay, Buffalo and Denver. Most if not all, we had a pretty decent lead going into the 4th quarter. Then we would lose it in the final minutes. For some reason something would go wrong. Most of the teams that was in the playoffs last year we beaten or should've beaten. If we gotten in, I honestly believe we could've survived and go deep into the playoffs. It really isn't that far of a stretch to think about. It actually could've happened. But it didn't. Despite of all of what I just said, I feel I have reason for optimism. Although I have to admit, I feel I'm optimistic year about the Dolphins, I feel this year is much more special. You could practically feel it in a sense. I believe this team can get to the playoffs and beyond. This is based on what I've seen and read online. Offensively, Ryan Tannehill is showing off in practices like never before and is truly taking control of this team. I join him in believing that he is a Super Bowl caliber quarterback right now, not later. His confidence should affect his teammates as they prepare for the season. He is connecting on passes in ways he didn't last year. For some of those who say he can't throw deep, he prove that he can time and time again. It may not be a 60 yard bomb or anything but he has thrown it deep and accurately too. Jarvis Landry is continuing to be the beast that he is with that crazy catch in practice. I have no doubt he is Tannehill's primary target this year. The red zone so far has improved. I want to see what happens in pads. But I like what I see. I have to mention DeVante Parker in the short time he has practiced, he has looked sensational. We added Jay Ajayi to the mix of backs which will make them stronger. I truly believe that Douglas and Turner will be the starting guards for the line. Albert be back week 1 and so I'm excited for what the offense is going to do. Defensively, we have some changes and additions to this unit that I like. First of all they simplified the defense band and added players like Suh to strengthen the defense. Players are coming back healthy and that excites me to think about. I don't feel no one is going to want to play us come week 1. I know you all know this stuff and probably more. So my intention was not to insult your intelligence on the matter. I wanted to simply express my thoughts on this issue. (I'm the only Dolfan I know in my area to talk Dolphins with). That being said I believe they can overcome their 4th quarter issues and get into the playoffs with no less than a 12-4 record. I honestly think they can go 13-3. Ok I'm done ranting and raving. What do y'all have to say?
