When I compare Dolphin fans to Jet fans it is like night and day. You guys are the classiest fanbase. Jet fans don't hold a candle to you guys, I have had run ins with Jet fans and they are arrogant.
You haven't really experienced it to its fullest. Dolphin fans and Jet fans have a special kind of hatred for one another. Let me put it this way...you have more fights during the Jet/Dolphins game in the stands, then you do at all the other games combined. When you go to a Dolphins/Jets game, you need to dress for war. (Steel Toe Boots / No Jewerly / ETC.) I'm sure perhaps your Chicago/Greenbay games are the same?? Or is it just to damn cold for that nonsense?
Yah as he said above and every other Dolphin fan will say....Jets can go $%! themselves. If they never win a game, nobody is happier than we are. We have two favorite teams, the Dolphins and whoever is playing the Jets.
You know...Division and all that. We don't exactly like Patriots or Bills but @#%!# the Jets. Ya know...lol
I think the Bears and Vikings hate us the most too. Detroit doesn't really have an intense rival lol.
It doesn't seem as intense for whatever reason. The results been so lopsided the last few years too. Every Pats game brings nothing but dread lol. They are just typical Boston fans, meaning they always have been and will always be the greatest team evaaa. It's more humorous than anything With the Jets is just pure hatred. You will see no midwestern politeness from a POS from New Jersey or Long Island. Then add to the fact that many of those people re-locate to South Florida and remain Jets fans, showing up at our games. They fail to see the irony in pimping how great the New York area is, but yet choose to move away from there. So it's a bit of a cultural thing. Oh and they are scumbags
Well said. And Pats fans have a right to be arrogant...if we were winning Superbowls like they are, we would be arrogant also. I know, I've seen it. When were good, we aren't afraid to know it.
Yep Pat fans are extremely arrogant. I worked with one at my old job. He always complained about how the Pats got ripped off in the AFC title game against the Colts by the refs bad calls all game.
Just remind him of the Tuck Rule game. I think the only time I ever pulled for a NY team in any sport, was the Giants in the Superbowl the year the Pats went into the game undefeated. Eli Manning has a special place in my heart.
They are still convinced it was a catch to win the game last season. Seahawk fans that is and still rubbing it in our face.
Damn right. I wear my replica Superbowl ring every where. Sent from my TB12-DSL using Tapatalk 2, one handed.
The Jets fans, compared to Bills and Pats fans, are obviously much more of an example of why 1st cousins should not be allowed to marry.
Not to be arrogant or classless, but tell us something we don't already know....naturally, there are exceptions...but still...we understand...
It would be more intense if the games were meaningful. We haven't beaten them enough to deny them any hardware, so there is more pity for us from them than antipathy. For us, its just envy. We wish like hell we could have a team like that. That doesnt make for good rivalry.
