Mcnabb just got benched by the redskins in favor of rex grossman of all people.
If henne plays poorly the next 3 games I can see them bringing in a vet to compete and i have this fear its going to be this guy if that happens.
I live 15 mins from philly and the fans here will tell you whats happening in washington was expected.This guy can't move like he used to and likes to throw the ball in the dirt to avoid any yac for his receivers.
Ireland if you read this please don't sign this ****er the phin fans deserve better.

I wouldn't mind picking up McNabb on a three or so year deal. If the price is right why not. There aren't **** for qb's in this years draft so it isn't exactly gonna set us back if it happens to not work out after the first year. Keep Henne on as a backup plan. I just don't see very attractive prospects at qb this year. Better off waiting for a more loaded draft class at qb
McNabb has been a good qb in this league and still has a few years of good play left. I think Washington has a qb curse or something. Nobody can seem to have much success playing qb there, so I don't really think his performance this year is a good representation of what he can do -

Mcnabb is done,he is not accurate and his mobility is limited these days.He is just a name and will not be an upgrade at this point in his career.
One thing about and andy reid is he knows when to unload a player that is one of his best assets.He was so sure mcnabb was done he gave the keys to the franchise to unproven kevin kolb. -

Mcnabb imo is not playing to the level he is capable..whether he hates it there, IDK, but I do know that I have watched him play half *** football...Personally from what I have seen from this veteran, I would of benched his *** as well....maybe the guy is miserable and he knows what his contracts' stipulations are...He does'nt want to be there, he plays like sj#t, and he gets moved in the offseason..mission accomplished.

I don't hold anyone in Philthadelphia's opinion of McNabb as credible. Those yahoo's were on his back from the moment he was drafted, even after how many times he took them to the NFC championship game with no talent at receiver and to the SB with his one year with TO. I will say he didn't look right last season or this season. I'd be really careful if we were going to take a look at him.

Living so close to washington and philly I have seen alot of skins and eagles games.The last 2 years i have noticed a steep decline in mcnabbs mobility and that was his strength because he is not the most accurate guy from the pocket.If they sign him he will turn out to be another daunte culpepper and we don't want to go down that road again.
If the previous regime was still running the Dolphins. I think there would be a very good chance that those individuals would go after McNabb. Ireland does not strike me as someone who wants to take a chance on an over the hill QB who has not shown on a bad Redskins team that he would be an improvement for the Dolphins. I think there is zero chance the Dolphins have any interest in signing McNabb after this season.
Interesting thought. To me, Carson Palmer is Culpepper 2.0. I think put in the right situation, McNabb could be Warner 2.0.
I do NOT think this is that situation. Arizona or Minny are the two most likely spots for him to land.
