First of all, nice job. If you're looking for constructive criticism, I'd say to look at updating the frequency band bars such that they don't all move together.
yeah. i was thinking the same thing. i'll probably go in and edit that. i was surprised at how small of a file size this turned out to be, despite the number of frames it uses.
I haven't done animated gif's in a long time. In fact, the last one I did was incredibly similar to your avatar. But, I remember the file size being pretty large which basically ruled it unusable as an avatar or signature.
if each frame contains the same colors, i think that helps keep the image really small. my avy is only 4 or 5 frames, and they all contain the same set of colors. photoshop makes it easy to customize your image for the web.
