Now that we have J peezy with J teezy(translation= Joey Porter and Jason Taylor) i think the offense will be worried about them and they'll let Roth slip through the cracks!
And I think neither JP or JT wants to play Roth's linebacker slot, JP was there in 07 and disappeared, JT has never played the strongside when he was younger, why would he play it now? That position in our defense is chock full of grunt work and Roth did a fine job there last season, but unless Matty R ups his passrushing skills, he will remain a two down player.
I dont get why people hate on Roth. He doesnt get too many sacks, sure, but he contains outside better than any other lb on the roster right now.
