All,
You'll all start posting threads like this in 11 days as soon as the picks are out. I thought I would beat all of you to it. We know at this point that Parcells is going to go toe to toe with the agent of whoever we pick. We also know that Parcells is going to make a firm case to not have to pay #1 money based on Jamarcus Russel's hugely inflated contract.
I forecast our pick being basically worthless to us for the first full month of the season because he'll be catching up on all the training camp he'll have missed.....
If I'm wrong, I'm loving it but I have a hard time imagining that there will be no holdout........

I have already pledged my services to the Tuna to break the knees of any shifty agent who thinks an untried college punk is worth millions of dollars because of his 'potential'.

If you look at past Parcells Drafts He had one hold out and that was for I believe 3 days. There won't be a holdout if they want to play on OUR team. To circumvent this they will pre negotiate similar to what we did on the first hours of FREE AGENCY.....

I beg of you both....
Go ahead and break the knee-caps of the agents, even if THEY DO SIGN before the draft:up: -

I'm 1/2 Italian, it's in the blood.

I think we'll have our guy signed before the draft too. Ownership of the fins doesnt want a holdout, neither does Bill, neither does Ireland, and im definately sure neither does Sparano. We are in the drivers seat here, and have plenty of time to get settled on our guy, and work out a deal. Its going to happen, I dont see it not happening to be honest.

Those agents are going to feel threatened and they may just collude .

Keep dreaming guys. I'm definitely planning on us having a holdout. Parcells has had one holdout ever but when was the last time he had the first overall pick???????

I totally can't see where the basis for this thread comes from, when Parcells & Co. are currently negotiating with our top two candidates to get one of them signed BEFORE the draft. How you think this leads to a holdout I cannot imagine. Sorry but this totally flies in the face of current reality and fact.
Sorry but I am glad I'm not the first to give this thread only 1 star, for lack of realistic thought and no support that I can see. At least you might give some basis for why you think this, other than your superb intuition.alen1 likes this. -

This is why we are negotiating now....to avoid a holdout.
