Let's just play a little, if for some odd reason both Qb's are off the board, or the coaches saw something they didn't like, and something they did later and felt that they could knock this draft out of the park by not selecting a Qb early, how would your draft look then?
Here's mine..
Luke Kuechly
Dwayne Allen
Marcus Mcnutt
Russell Wilson
Devon Wylie

Trade back and acquire another second if possible

4) Tommy StreeterDol Fan99 likes this. -
1. Ingram/Quinton Coples
2. Alshon Jeffery/Rueben Randle
3. James Brown
4. Strong Safety
5. Streeter -
Need to remember, this is not gonna be your traditional drop back style offense, it's gonna be real uptempo, conceptually, running as many plays as possible, movement, sharpness, footwork, ball handling, accuracy, arm strength, leadership, toughness, charisma, and uncanny ridiculous vision, who exactly in this draft does those things better than Russell Wilson not named Luck.?

Trade back a few spots if possible and pick up another 2nd
1. Nick Perry DE/ can play OLB in 3-4 or DE in 4-3...he's a great athlete, pass rusher and good all round
2. Kevin Zeitler OG/ Zeitler is supposed to be a extremely hard worker, has great feet and is physically a beast...Carey needs to be replaced and Jerry isn't very promising imo
2. Kirk Cousins QB/ I think he has the tools to be a good WC QB and would be a good pick up if we can get another 2nd rd pick
3. Juron Criner WR/ other than a unimpressive 40 time Criner is a complete WR. Big, strong, good hands and good after the catch
3. Ladarius Green TE/ I think this kid has TONS of potential to be great. I see him as the next Aaron Hernandez...he is a gifted athlete
4. Brandon Hardin FS/ we need to upgrade at safety position and Hardin is versatile. Fast, strong and can play well in coverage and run support -

Club level mock draft Weeden made it all the way to 42. Of course there is no trades though in the Club Level mock draft, but it seems like if it fell that way Miami could trade up if they really wanted to and not blow the 8th pick on a huge reach for Weeden.

1- floyd
2- Harrison smith
3- vinny curry
4- Dwayne allen
5- russel Wilson. -
I love russel Wilson, I think he isn't a first rounder just because of his size. Just like brees

I'm going to go with.
Courtney Upshaw, DE, Alabama
Stephen Hill, WR, Georgia Tech
Russell Wilson, QB, Wisconsin
Bruce Irvin, OLB, West Virginia
Ryan Broyles, WR, Oklahoma
Zebrie Sanders, OT, Florida State
Chase Ford, TE, Miami
Donnie Fletcher, CB, Boston College -
Forcing myself to exclude Brandon Weeden and Ryan Tannehill...this one's as good as any...
#008. DE Quinton Coples, North Carolina
Comment: Not nearly the lazy player on the field that some say, dominated blockers in both phases, commanded extra attention, ridiculously strong with good burst off the ball and the ability to make the players around him better.
#042. QB Russell Wilson, Wisconsin
Comment: Don't take a chance trying to see how far down the board you can get him. Considering Luck and Griffin are already locked, and hypothesizing that Tannehill and Weeden are not destined for Miami, Wilson is the only other QB I predict to be a starter one day.
#072. LB James-Michael Johnson, Nevada
Comment: The Dolphins have been sniffing linebackers in Johnson's mold. This is the second best inside linebacker in the Draft outside of Luke Kuechly, and he's not as far from Kuechly in talent as many would think.
#073. FS Markelle Martin, Oklahoma State
Comment: Did not always take the right angles but very athletic with tremendous closing speed, leader on the defense, the ability to knock the hell out of players and to make early jumps on the football.
#103. WR Devon 'Wiggles' Wylie, Fresno State
Comment: Immediately takes over as punt returner, can take the top off a defense as well as be your electric RAC guy underneath the coverage, adding on top of that the ability to be quarterback-friendly because of ability to use uncommon vision to see the ball in flight and use uncommon quick feet to adjust to it.
#145. TE Chase Ford, Miami (FL)
Comment: Highly underrated player that should be yet another in a string of players that did not get the opportunities/coaching at The U that they will in the NFL. Watch his JUCO tape, watch his Shrine tape, and tell me The U didn't screw this one up.
#196. OT Jeff Adams, Columbia
Comment: Truly compelling athlete that notches all the boxes Mike Sherman wants to see from his offensive linemen in this zone-based system. Watched him play exceedingly well at Shrine practice against some good players.
#215. WR Chris Owusu, Stanford
Comment: Very smart player that is a phenomenal athlete at 6'0" and 196 lbs, running a 4.36 with a 40.5" vertical. Attacks the football in the air, can blow the top off a defense, runs smart and precise routes. Only reason you're getting him here is bad concussions. Roll the dice. -
All I know is if we get a QB at 8, I'm all over Sanu in 2nd round. He catches everything, he is the anti Marshall.
-
1. Luke Kuechly
2. Chandler Jones
3. Chris Givens
3. Marvin Jones
4. Devon Wylie
5. Michael Egnew
6. Jeff Adams
7. Desmond Wynn
