I believe Tony is just being loyal and taking the high road refusing to dump on a long time friend on his way out the door. at least, I hope that's the case.

Real question is if Henning does retire, who will replace him with the labor issues upcoming?
We have David Lee and Karl Dorrel on staff, Sparano did that job somewhat in Dallas, which strikes me as the best option. -

I think hes just saying that b/c he knows Henning is going to retire and doesnt want to bash the guy on his way out.
If Henning wasnt already set to retire, and was planning on coaching for a few more years... Sporano would be singing a different tune.
Sparano has been all about accountability. He replaced the DC last year, and he'll replace the OC this year... assuming Sparano is still around.
