How anyone can prefer frigid weather to the tropical oasis we have down here is crazy. But Im a Florida boy so JMO.
Does this mean Washingon is a legit landing spot?cnc66 likes this. -
The little boy can't make up his little mind what he wants, he never grew up, and doesn't want to grow up now. He likes playing in the snow, y'know, making snow angels and stuff. So give little Brett a break here, he wants to play, in the snow. We like that, 'cause we don't want the little boy anywhere near this team now do we?

I'd like to live in cooler weather too but for millions of bucks I'd gladly live in a hot place.

I think he still ends up staying in GB. No team wants him anymore. The teams mentioned in his interest were the Panthers, Ravens, Bucs, and Dolphins I believe. None of those teams are interested because either they have stated they will not pursue him or it is too hot to play there. If he indeed does come back, I think he's back in GB as a starter or backup.
In response to Hardkorexxx, I don't think he'd end up in Washington because they aren't anywhere near a Super Bowl. Snyder does like to spend a lot of money and make splashes but I can't see how they go after Favre when its basically going to be a stop gap for them. Campbell only has 20 starts under his belt and hasn't had a fair chance because of the starts and his receivers have been injured.

Once received, packers must reinstate prudently or release him. So it's possible he hasn't sent the letter yet, and that he's pre-posturing to get what he wants, and then send the letter. But the letter is easy.alen1 likes this. -
On ESPN, they just showed Favre's agents interview regarding reinstatement. He stated that there would be no reason file for reinstatement and then have the Packers fine him $15,000 for missing camp. Michael Clemens, reporter of Milwaukee radio, says that Favre has stated he will file his papers for reinstatement.
Is it just me or are Favre and his agent not on the same page? One says one thing and then the other does the opposite. -
Can we please send JT and Favre to the international space station for 3 years and replace them both with some of theose space chimps? I'm sooo sick of both of their stupid asses.:pity:

Just because Favre is from Mississippi doesn't mean he likes to play in hot weather. You can always put on extra clothes and a heavy jacket to warm up, it is much harder trying to cool off and stay cool in high temp/humidity. I think sooner or later someone has to blink. I think Green Bay is going to have to deal him away....the only NFC team I see him going to is maybe Washington. I would say Miami probably only has maybe a 10% shot?....they would likely have to trade JT to the Packers. We'll see who blinks first.

My guess is that he files for reinstatement after or in the middle of camp. I really doubt he would humble himself enough to "compete" with Rodgers for the job so he'll likely sit out and pout for a trade. If they don't trade him and he doesn't start (I HIGHLY doubt he ever starts in GB while Rodgers is there and healthy) then I would assume he would go back to retirement or sit out the season.
Not that I wouldnt love to see him ride the bench all year after all this garbage. -
I think he ends up back in GB because as of now he doesn't have any suitors and every team is reluctant to give up the compensation that GB is asking for which now stands at a 1st or 2nd rounder.
I don't understand what good it would be for him to sit out. He still has 3 years left on his deal and he would likely be getting fined every day for missing practice, etc. If he were to sit out, he would be in this same situation next off-season. It would be even worse for him because the possibilities of him going to another team would be slimmer due to his age and GB's asking price. -
I duno I dont understand anything he's doing (prob bc hes a moron). Hes contradicted himself so many times that nothing would suprise me at this point.
Maybe he thinks that showing up to camp will make GB and their fans support him again? or enough to have his job back.
Seems strange though because I remember watching his interview and he was real sarcastic with the idea of competing with Rodgers.
I duno whats worse: Watching all his drama now, or having to listen to him as an analyst when ESPN inevidably gives him a job. I wish he'd just go back to slingin Levis and leave us alone. -
Maybe. Today on ESPN they asked Michael Clemens about the fans in GB and how they feel about him. He stated that a good percentage (70%-80%) of the fans dislike Favre now.
Yeah in the second part of his interview on Fox, he was talking about his legacy. He was saying about how the Packers shouldn't give a damn about his legacy and "why the hell should they care" about it.
I still think he ends up in GB if he indeed does comeback. -
