If the Dolphins don't add a "big name" receiver before draft, is that a failure?

Looks like "We have fours, fives and sixes” again, but this time their paid like twos.

Because he's shown he can shoulder more of a workload. And I never said I would have given him $6M/per.

    That's silly at best.

We have a large sum of spending money and our GM is perceived, league-wide, as a muttonhead (our fault).

We're going to be "interested" in everyone.

I'll accept the reporting on Wallace, because it's come from nearly every reporter in the country over the last three months, without conflict. I'm not buying the unsubstantiated Welker rumors. I'm not saying he won't be here, but as of now, it's totally unfounded dot-connecting.

How far can this ship get to reverse course in one year, or even two? Like trying to change the direction of an iceberg with an Evinrude.

They're all almost as good as Tavon will be. ;)

I'm all for drafting Stedman Baily and Ryan Swope. Or trade back a bit if we can find a trade partner and draft Tavon Austin and Baily. Not a huge fan of wallace, and I have gone back and forth on him, so I am ready to draft 2 WR early maybe even 3 and get Swope also if we can trade Bess. Use the money saved from signing a WR on the other spots of need.

That's actually not true. It's a portion of the fan base that perceives him as a muttonhead. League-wide, on the other hand, he's highly regarded. I've never seen anything but positives spoken about him by quite a few league Execs, coaches, owners, etc.

The pro bowl has become more of a popularity contest the last few years and actually the large number of replacements is a very recent development. Yards has always been a horrible stat in terms of correlation with winning. You're better off flipping a coin.

To be fair, I've never seen negatives spoken about any gm by them either. So we will never really know.
