I don't know why any team wouldn't give up a 5th rounder for him if that's anywhere near all it takes.
not really concerned. He's certainly an upgrade over Shonne Greene, but let's be realistic. The Jets are now likely one of the 5 worst teams in the league, joined by the Raiders, Bills, Jaguars. Adding an above average RB isn't going to make a big difference
He's good, but not great IMO. So, I do agree, we can use another good RB to complement Miller. But, I also think others will become available after the draft that we won't have to spend a draft pick to get. It was interesting to see last night on Path to the Draft, that Fabiano had his #1 sleeper RB of 2013 as Lamar Miller. Maybe he was watching the Pouncey interview.
He doesn't need to be great to help you win games. For a 5th he's a steal, imo. Miller has a ton of hype. Def legit but FF gives him a lot more of a buzz.
Jest new GM is quietly doing a good job with what he has to work with, adding Ivory (maybe) and Barnes and Garay and Pace and Goodson Qb is a mess, so is the OL, but stil, at least they are going for guys who can add athleticism.
Not like he's going to be breaking the bank spending most of his career as 3rd string. You guys sound cheap lol
