I hate both teams, but I'd root for New England. They took a team full of no-names, and have turned into the best team in the league. I hate New England too, but man do I wish I knew how it felt to be a fan of them. Plus, the Jets are just ****ing embarrassing to the NFL.
KC has beat one team with a winning record this year and that's the Jaguars. To top it all off, Trent Edwards was starting. LOL You crack me up!
New England no question about it. I hate the Jets they are so cocky. And my brother is a jet fan so it makes it worse. Go Pats!
Pats...no brainer. However, I hope someone kicks the **** out of them the following week. And KC is undefeated at home...I'll take KC
KC yes. Indy, probably not. No worries though. They won't make you guys sweat for 10 quarters like they did last year.
Jets/Chiefs will be a fun game to watch as Thomas Jones and his buddy Jamaal Charles will test that run defense quite a bit. As far as the Jets offense vs the Chiefs defense...I dunno depends on wich Sanchez you get. But the homefield advantage in KC leans me toward picking them.
Remember... Their dominant 17-0 team lost the big game, I would have them as a FAV also but playoff football is quite fickle.
I'm going back to NE for the super bowl ( I went to college in Beantown from 2004-2008, oh it was terror!) but I'd much rather be rooting against the pats than the jets at that time. At least the pats have been quiet. The jets are obnoxious and dont deserve a title IMO. But I would happily root for the EA against the pats in february being from an hour west of philly. They are by far my #2 favorite team, even with Vick, since we only play them once every 4 years. I am a fins fan at heart but will ALWAYS root for the eagles, except on the chance they are playing the fins
C'mon Bick...that's not it at all. Actually I'd love to see them win, get all cocky again, Ryan start talking about kicking *** again, then watch that stupid deer in the headlights look on Ryan's face at the post game presser after New England runs up the score on them once more.
No doubt and I don't blame NE for scoring as many points as they possibly could against the Jets. That game was for first place in the division and NE also wanted to send a message to a team they could see again in the playoffs. But yesterday was different. NE was playing for NOTHING. They didn't gain a thing with that win.....but they played Brady late into the game and piled the points up on you anyway. In their defense, they did call of the dogs late or they would have put up over 40 and they didn't start their two starting WR's and one of their really good TE's. So I guess it could have been worse. Still, I think it was a pretty bush move to keep Brady in that long.
He played a half + a bit more? Not like in 2007 when he played the entire game (although they were chasing records). NE is the most dominant franchise and have a ton of picks stockpiled to booster their young talent base. I have already said that we are playing for 2nd. I think we can be on par with the Jets, neither team is catching the Patriots any time soon. Even when Brady went down the team went freaking 11-5! Ridiculous!!!! BTW ~ thanks for giving them Woodhead, really. Thanks.
They actually pulled him in the second Q, when they were up 14-0. Brian Hoyer was extremely uncomfortable taking over and the Phins kept blitzing him and he almost turned the ball over, so they stuck Brady back in. Also, they are off next weekend, so I can see him taking a few more snaps then someone playing next week.
No, they did that to simulate an in game situation, where Brady goes out, hoyer is in and then Brady comes back in. It was planned ~ saw it discussed by Brady on the NFL network.
We didn't give them Woodhead. They signed him. You guys had the same opportunity, no? Plus we have "158 Yards" McKnight. Who needs Woodhead?
No matter if your a Jets or Dolphins fan your looking up at one of the NFL's greatest dynasties and maybe the best coach/QB combination ever. I can admidt these things even though it sucks. Rather it be Woodhead or Welker the Pats continue to make our teams look foolish on and off the field.
We'll wait to pass judgment on him since my grandmother could have run all over that Buffalo defense....and she's dead.
