My wife did some calling today. We saved a lot of money on home phone, and internet. Also if your income is below a certain amount we can save on our gas and electric. When they heard I lost my job they were like hold on we want to see if we can help out. Just thought I would pass this along for others in the same boat. Best of luck.:wink2:

On the foremost hand, I am glad for your family, as I realize a hand up is needed for lots of people right now. On the secondary hand, I am suspicious that the utilities companies are overcharging EVERYONE if such exceptions are easily made without documentation, yet a simple phone call.

I agree sister. I will take the extra help right now, as every bit will help until I can get a new job. The electric/gas company said if you make under 30,000.00 in your house hold, they will cut the bill by 20%. So you are right about that.:hi5:
