Who would you choose to be YOUR HC for your favorite team? And why? (be a current HC or one who could potentially take the job like a Gruden )
For myself I would stick with BB for the Pats. Why?
He has made EVERY year enjoyable and competitive for me to watch.. there has been rarely a season where I was disappointed in how the team did.. They usually exceeded my expectation (like this year!)

It's really hard to argue against Belichick. He's the best in the game as much as it pains me to admit it.

Rocky,
What I want as a FAN is a HC who makes the team competitive and fun to watch every year, I remember the years where they just stunk and were the Lions of the East, the DETROIT Lions that is.
That said I just want people NOT to look at my team and say thats an easy W, i want them always go hmm that can go either way.. -
It Would Have to be Belichick hes Currently The Best In The Biz.

Hard to argue against BB. He could take this roster and probably go deep in the playoffs.

Killerphins, , late again and 2 others like this.

Actually Miami has a very good D and I can see BB using Henne as a game control and pounding the ball a lot with Brown and Williams and using the D to win close low scoring games.. IMO he would have the Phins at 12-3 right now.. Yes IMO he make that big of a difference. (The Wildcat has seen its day and it has passed) -
OK, I'll play. Last night I watched two of the brightest and best young HC's currently in the game (IMHO). Mike Smith and Sean Payton. Throw John Harbaugh into the mix, and it'd be hard for me to pick one over the other. But, if I had to, I'd probably take Payton.
One a side note, we coulda had Harbaugh or Smith over Sparano. Just sayin'.late again likes this. -

Jim Mora. He'd make the inevitable Playoff Push/Collapse at least somewhat enjoyable.

Exactly what I was thinking guys!
Funny stuff.
I'd take the Frodo Bellichick in a heartbeat.
The guy can game plan and adjust that game plan better than anyone in the league.
He's also perfected roster management in the Salary Cap NFL era.
I hate him simply because he's not our coach and he's a coach of a division rival.
Only way I could hate him more is if he had stayed in NY to coach the Jets. (Thank God he didn't!)
He's the best coach in the game right now.
A close second on the coaching wish list would be Sean Payton. -
Smith and Harbaugh are emerging, and I also like Tomlin a lot.
Reid is another choice that many would make, but I'm not a fan. I think he is a great mentor and developer, but he has issues getting it done. -
Coach Dead Horse because no matter what they do if they don't get to the bowl in year 2 most fans will start beating it with a stick.
