Then here you go, talk away.
Try not to flame.
How soon are they moving to Toronto?
Will they join the CFL if they do move?
Wow...where to begin, how about:
Who will play Qb in 2010? Left Tackle?
Who replaces TO at Wr?
are you guys still a team?
dear only bills fan,
what are your thoughts on the current economic crisis in greece and portugal?
Qb I'm betting Trent Wins the competition. Maybe he can do well who knows.
Ok tackle options in 2010. Bleak, but here they are. Demetrius Bell, Jamon Meredith, or Ed Wang. For those on the roster. But I'm still holding out hope for Jared Gaither. Cmon Gaither baby!
Wide receivers alright one of these guys has to be on the field..James Hardy (Hey remember him?!) Marcus Easely (R) Chad Jackson (gators) or Steve Johnson! Talented group but they gotta do it on game day! Hopefully one outta the four can do something!
But also look for a new viable receiving threat in Shawn Nelson!
Borrowing gets you in trouble! Avoid it at all costs.
Sidebar - I'm glad I don't live in Greece or Portugal right now.
The combination of that comment and that stupid Will Ferrell face made me laugh.
Gailey is a creative offensive minded coach, and Edwards is not the scrub he is made out to be (imho) but that Oline and Wr corps is tragic bro.
Meredith and Bell were two quality small college prospects in 09 though.
Who will play NT in the brand new 3-4?
We have good prospects at those positions but nothing steady. That's why Gaither would be great to get. I'd much rather rely on one of those prospects to play RT with Gaither at LT, than having both those young prospects playing LT and RT together lol. We have good young guards, but problems at tackle.
Kyle Williams I guess has to play NT. We drafted Troupe, a NT in the second round. He has to play 30% of the snaps. Really depending on him so uhh we'll see what happens.
What is Marshawn Lynch worth trade wise..cuz he's got to be the odd man out right?
Well, Gailey will work in 3 step drops to mitigate pressure on the Qb, but with your running game being the major threat they will be throwing against tighter coverages.
Pity (not really) that Marshawn Lynch looks like he has flammed out as a combination of Lynch/Jackson/Spiller would have potential.
Small college player as well, too bad Marcus Stroud is not really NT material.
The switch to the 3-4 can be a painful one.
I mean they were offered a 4th and then a 3rd rounder for Lynch draft day and they declined it. So they must have plans for him. What? I don't know. Crazy running back team.
Too many teams are doing that IMO. I still like the 4-3 better.
Dwan and Stroud sound good at DE though.
glad it did bro, i was just joking.
I am a Clemson fan and enjoyed cheering for Spiller. I felt sick as soon as I heard that the Bills took him. I wanted to wish him luck and I guess I still do but I hope he has 2 horrible games a year.
I hear the Bills are going to make him their short yardage back and only bring him in on 3rd or 4th and short and or Goal line situations.
I hope that is a joke. Certainly not playing to his strengths there. They better be using him on kick and punt returns.
I was so happy they took Spiller.
Take the 4th best tackle or take the best offensive playmaker in the draft? No brainer! He's going to make an immediate impact.
In college Spiller had 52 touchdowns. of those 52, 21 of them were for 50 yards or more. How incredible is that stat? He's going to be a headache for Miami's slow defense.
I like it!
Just a wild guess on how they are going to ruin yet another talented player.
Everybody is slow compared to Spiller.
I wouldn't be surprised.
Speaking of Spiller, they can line him up anywhere. Look for him to spend some time in the slot. He could line up wide on the end on occasion as well. I think that Spiller is going to make everyone on offense better, as he can make plays on his own.
Aside from Evans, our WRs are pretty much unproven, which means that it is not proven that they are bad players. It's an unknown. We have a lot of young guys, so you would think that at least one of them will step up. Also, we have Shawn Nelson going into his second season at Tight End, a guy that I have high hopes for. Roscoe Parrish has unique talents that the previous regime hasn't tapped into.
I think that, as long as they stay healthy, we have a pretty solid middle of the o-line. Wood and Levitre were starting rookies last year, and I think they both can be very good. Hangartner is OK at Center. It's the Tackles that worry me. Hopefully, the Bills pick up Gaither from Baltimore or Brown from the Saints at some point, which is entirely possible. We'll be better on the line no matter what this year IMO. I don't want to bore you with what happened there last year, but it was a mess.
The Bills had the #2 passing defense in the league last year, even after McKelvin went on IR in week 3. Our secondary is very good, and it looks like we'll be playing more man-to-man instead of playing cover two, which only makes sense. It's the failure to stop the run that has killed us...for a long time. I think switching to the 3-4 will help that, and keep in mind that we won't be playing the traditional 3-4 on every down. We'll switch it up and play various schemes, too, including the 4-3. Most of our previous DEs are now LBs as well. To me, it's like getting two first round picks this year, as Aaron Maybin is switched to OLB, which is where he belonged in the first place. In fact, Gailey knows how to play to a player's strengths, something Jauron and whatever passed for an Offensive coordinator didn't understand.
What is a Buffalo Bill?
How is he going to run when there are multiple defenders in his face at the start of the play?
When defending the Bills simply bring 9 men into the box, and play man on Lee Evans and wichever irrelevant guy they have lined up opposite of him.
Simple coverage for such a one dimensional offense.
too bad hes not playing the craptastic acc anymore. we wont need alot of speed when you have no one to block for him.
um Clemson is in the ACC man
We're named after the cowboy buffalo bill. I guess we're a football team of his clones. Pretty dumb, I know.
At least we don't have a stupid cowboy cartoon character as a logo.
I hate our regular uniforms too, time to change. The throwbacks are sick though with the white helmets.
We'll throw the balls to him then lol.
The bills will find ways to get CJ Spiller the ball in a lot of different situations. Miami just gets to be the first to try and gameplan for him.
You're so stealthy with that edit button.
What are the chances that Spiller makes it past the bye week before he's on the IR?
Sounds like your plan is to use him in the Reggie bush mold. May it turn out just as well.
Is it true Trent Edwards REAL name is Capt Checkdown and can only throw the ball 10 yards?
And how in the hell did Buffalo have the 2nd best passing defense?.....Oh wait! I have the answer: Noone needed to throw!
Which is what happened to us in 07, the passing defense looks good on paper the fact of the matter was that yr C-Pepe and the Raiders scored like 4 rushing TD's on us that season.
As for a question...what would the asking price be for Roscoe Parrish?
If Spiller is returning kicks, what does Parrish do?
