the demo was way too much sim for me. I could barely fly at all, but if I was into the super sim flight games I'd be all over this.
I was given this a gift....love this game. (Arcade mode is cool.....full simulation mode is butt hard) Flying in all these different planes and different mission is so much better than being a Army Grunt on the ground.
I'm waiting for this game to drop in price. I could get it for $32, but with my backlog I need it to get a bit lower.
Yeah, I hear ya....my daughters GameStop discount comes in handy. I love the main missions and the secondary ones that pop up...the ability to send commands to flight crew, etc....lots of fun. Just flew a mission, and a fellow pilot was shot down but survived, and I was given a choice to carry on with main assignment or accept the rescue mission.....had to land safely, pick him up, and fly off....very cool and unique.
I was thinking of getting this one... BDH, have you had issues with frame rate drops? Which system are you playing on? Are you playing online yet (that would be my guess as to the frame rate drops occurring more frequently)
PS3, campaign mode, no havent tried this one online (no desire really)....it looks great for me..so maybe online is causing frame drop?
