So they fight and fight to acquire Take-Two. They don't end up doing it, but I'm thinking a Take-Two acquisition would have cost MILLIONS. In the mean time, They're losing $310 million in a quarter and is cutting 6% of their staff. They don't sound like potential suitors for T2 to me. They can't even take care of themselves.
I'm not gonna sit here and pretend I know the business world. Maybe having T2 would have changed these figures to the point where they wouldn't be putting a few hundred people out of work. Maybe EA is just a punch of gun-slinging idiots. Who knows?

It makes my heart bleed that a great company like EA is loosing money.
Bwahahahah.
Memo to EA, make better games and you will stop loosing money. -
Love seeing EA lose money. That is just one step closer to them losing the NFL license.

EXACTLY!
Use creativity and smarts, be original instead of buying every company that is original and bringing out 12 sequels to anything that was any good. Work on COMPLETING games before their release instead of bringing out a packaged beta.Uncle Rico likes this. -
to bad 2k still has mlb rights

In defense of the "New EA" that EA is trying to portray, Dead Space (got it a month or so ago, and started it today) really kicks a lot of ***. Seriously, it's an awesome game.

And w/ the economy the way it is I'm not sure we can place all the blame for a drop in profits on the heads of EA. I mean what retailer isnt hurting somewhat atm? Especially one as massive as EA.
