July 18, Charter One Pavilion in Chicago. My mom is getting Mrs. Z and I killer seats for our anniversary.
I've seen Yes a bunch of times, always a great show. Steve Howe is one of my favorite guitarists and Squire is my favorite bass player. All the guys are amazing musicians.
The only sad thing is that Rick Wakeman won't be playing due to health reasons. His son will play keys instead.
Well just about every time I've seen Yes one of the original members is missing, they always put together a great band and a great show. I haven't seen them in ages I'll have to keep an eye out for them.
I didn't even know they were still playing. Dickie Betts is coming to my college friday, my cousin is in charge of events, I just may have to call her!
40th anniversary tour. They don't get out much, admittedly. I'm hoping I won't be disappointed, but it seems like they still play well.
Got my tickets last night. I am so pumped. Found this picture of the view from the Charter One Pavilion: By the way, our seats are in the middle of the picture about where the bluish partition is.
Well, ****. Yes just canceled their tour due to Jon Anderson's health problems. First my mom goes in the hospital, now this. My week's going in the crapper.
