I usually read the boards but decided to become a member today. I think it's inevitable Bush will gone and Bradshaw would make a great 3rd down back behind Thomas and Miller. He's one of the best blitz pickup and blocking backs in the league. He's only 26, still runs hard and catches the ball. He'd be perfect here.
I've been a fan of his since his Marshall days and I came across this video with his career highlights. It's long but the poster individualized the structure of it the highlight certain aspects of his game (you can find it on the details).

Right now as far as short yardage is concerned, I don't like our options. Tannehill keepers may be our most effective one. Not a good recipe. Thomas should be fighting for a spot on the team this summer. Jonas Grey is the sleeper. Javorskie is a load, but we're talking about the HB spot. I expect us to sign someone, though I'd rather we just find the next alfred morris. Bradshaw instantly starts here and is an upgrade from Reggie Bush as far as playing the position is concerned. Offer these guys 1yr/1m.

Why no interest in Mendenhall?

Not for the money he will want. He cant stay on the feild and would be a 3rd down back here.

there is no need to spend that much money into that position, we may add another RB via the draft, that would be ok

Whether we go RB in draft or not (that will be a late rounder if we do), I think we need a veteran in there to split carries and take the pressure off. That's a big factor, imo.
I really like Bradshaw as well, but I suspect he leans to stay in NYC. However, he may like Philbin's offense. It will come down to $$ as well, I suspect.
I just can't abide Thomas. Maybe he will pan out and become something special but I have serious doubts. He is just mediocre. I don't see him as a power option. I'd prefer to get rid of him. I think he'll be gone after next year and we'll be wondering, "Why did they stick with this guy for so long?"
If we brought in Bradshaw and went with: Miller, Bradshaw, the kid from Notre Dame who should be fully healthy, and maybe a late round pick for competition ... I think that would be solid at RB. -
I'm not a big Bradshaw fan and I would rather see the Dolphins select a young running back early in the draft if they don't sign Bush.
