I think you will get you wish as soon as the next regime comes in. Of course there is no way everyone will be cut. I expect a major turnover on the roster to start immediately, and it would not surprise me one bit if 90% of the players now on the roster are out of the league or on another team within three years.

The worst choke, at least recently, was in 2002. Dolphins had a tie for the #1 seed in the AFC with 2 weeks left after beating Super Bowl bound Oakland. They lose in Minnesota who were one of the worst teams that season, then they lose in New England with a 10 point lead with like 3 minutes left in the game. They finish 9-7 in a 3 way tie with the Jets and Pats and lose division on tiebreaker.

From #1 seed to no playoffs in 2 weeks.

That is not choking... Defensively they gave up only 15 in Regulation Time... and still lost...

True, but injuries to the secondary caused us to sign CBs off the street, and we had DeBerg at QB for most of those too. Weird season! I was at that Pats game ....

 

I read what you wrote. The sentence structure made not the slightest bit of sense however... I do agree though that it was only fitting.

There have been worse collapses; the Monday night debacle comes to mind.

But letting themselves get beat by as awful a pro QB as Tebow was fresh hell.
