Man he has grown from last year...the guy is carrying himself like he's been here 10 years! So glad we don't have a d-bag, overconfident clown as our QB, Ryan's interviews never disappoint. Not even his worst detractors are as critical of him as he is of himself. Always admired his humility.

Not to be a killjoy, but didn't he say something like this last year?

I'd like for him to be nice and calm once the game starts, let everyone else be a crazed dog, just take it easy and calm, and play fast, stay in the moment, see it, don't worry about the protection, just be a bad ***.

I hope and pray that Tannehill shows his true worth this year. I am tired of this team not having an at least good QB. He showed progress last year and a huge amount of toughness after enduring 58 sacks and not missing a start. On top of that his numbers showed real improvement from his rookie season despite the sacks. All that said he has to bring it this year. Everything depends on it.
The Dolphins will be as successful as Tannehill is this year.mbsinmisc likes this. -
When we drafted Ryan the common thought was that he was a developmental player and would likely take a year or two before he started. We even signed David Garrard to man the fort during his development. So to me the fact that he started the past two seasons and has put up reasonable stats puts him way ahead of schedule.

Good post. It seems that the David Garrard plan is often forgotten in the Tannehill story.
