That's the best course of action. Keep him away from the team and let him hit free agency. I doubt that the investigation will be done soon.

I feel like I should be mad that we are still paying him and that he should play if we are, but our oline has been so much better the last few weeks without him and Martin......still not very good though

LOL @ "delta-bravo"

Regardless of where we all come out in the assessment of his development, he's sure displayed the ability to take a beating and not get physically broken down or mentally shell-shocked. -
The way Jeff Darlington talks about Incognito you would think they're both lovers.
-
Suspect the run blocking problems are more about miss matched OL talent with blocking scheme.
As for Richie I, cannot really say Brenner has been worse, thought Garner did alright as well -
He's being paid for the previous two games. Basically two more games (paid) after this. So 6 games total.
Also reserves the right to file grievance after he's released.

Can you imagine what Ireland's pepperoni was doing to his stomach, his 4.6 mil LG, #2 pick LT and 4 mil RT all flaming out at basically the same time?
3 week span at that, most teams have 1 quality backup offensive lineman, no team has 3 experienced backup offensive linemen just waiting to play
Oh yeah, then Pouncey got sick.
4 Quality backup offensive linemen?
Viewed in that light, it is somewhat amazing we've had any success at all on offenseAqua4Ever04 likes this. -
I don't understand why any fan would want Incognito back. Guy is not a good football player.
-
Incognito wasnt coming back after this season regardless. I think that this extention is just to make sure that he doesnt sign with another AFC team if the Fins are in the playoff hunt. I would bet that if the team wins the next two, some sort of deal is worked out where this is extended through the end of the season.
-
If his suspension runs out after the final game against NYJ, and we end up making the playoffs, what happens then? Do we extend the extension of his suspension(!), or is he back in the team? I'm assuming the former?

To me the bottom line is we don't miss Richie I the player, when a UDFA and Nate Garner can replaced you and do a better job in run blocking and pass pro your 4 million dollar a yr salary is likely to be playing elsewhere next year.
