To be fair, Geno Atkins was gone for much of that period. We also employed a sixth lineman much of the time. We'll find out for sure. Just hope we do not sustain another injury going forward.
Made excuses? No. Just trying to put the comments in perspective. Unless I missed them, he didn't really make any terrible comments on this board and that's all I'm judging him on when I say I hope he comes back. You should see some of the horrible things I type on other message boards where that type of toilet talk and humor is acceptable. Putting those comments in perspective in a way that lessens their impact with a goal of negating wrongdoing is essentially an excuse. You joking or saying things ironically is totally different from what happened there.
Agreed. The OLine did NOT play better after Cogs left the game with injury and we had no running game afterwards. Hopefully Garner gets better with a full week of practice and can stay healthy. Like Patterson, Garner's constitution is pretty much as tough as the glaze coating on candied apples...

I dont see how a grown mam playing in the nfl can get bullied, im sorry its not possible, is incognito a dick probably. But to go and tattle tell about stuff going on, what rookie doesn't have to pay for dinner or carry around veterans bags etc. but to leave because people got up from a table? I seriously doubt it was a race thing and was as bad as its making out to be. None of the defense or offensive guys would stand by and watch, and if they did they are just as guilty as philbin for not stepping up. Hopefully this is the final straw and Ireland and Philbin both are gone, for covering stuff up etc. I know they show texts messages vm etc, but noone knows the context of their relationship.
