    Wes Welker
    Willis McGahee
    Matt Hasselbeck

    for

    Randy Moss
    Andre Johnson
    Marshawn Lynch
Chad Pennington (probably figured I was a Dolphins fan by my team name)

I figure I gain in WR and possibly RB with maybe a loss on QB. But my starter is Carson Palmer and with all the issues surrounding McGahee, I want someone else to pair with Westbrook. Leaning on accepting it but I'm wondering if it'll make it past any veto.

I think it's fair both ways. I think it can help you. While you lose in the QB points, I think Lynch is a better fantasy option than McGahee and Moss/A.Johnson are better than Welker/Boldin. If you're the other guy, you're getting a solid option at QB in M.Hasselbeck and pontentially better at WR with A.Johnson's injury concerns.

I don't think it will be vetoed. As a commissioner I wouldn't veto it, nor do I believe our league would.

I hate doing 8 player trades. I like making deals, but I always like to see how my draft turned out the first couple weeks, scouring the FA/Waiver wire for the "steal", then making some deadline deals.

I believe so but Hasselbeck is my backup and hopefully I'd be using Pennington only against a pretty weak opponent during Palmer's bye so it's not that big a loss strategically.

I would too if I were certain it'd go through. Main thing I worry is if enough managers veto it. If it doesn't, I still have another offer for McGahee that involves Portis.

I don't get the stigma around McGahee. He'll be ready for the opener, and he's a good player. Pick up Ray Rice from free agency if you're that worried.

By the way, Welker may have cracked ribs. Be wary about him: it sounds like this guy is trying to unload an injury risk.

Oh, in that case, pull the trigger. That's an awesome deal.

And if Pennington makes you uncomfortable, Regan, we have some new starting QBs: Kurt Warner, Matt Ryan, JT O'Sullivan.

I'd go for the trade, bro... If Hassellback is your 2nd option at QB, I don't see why you haven't pulled the trigger yet..

I'm also really not too big on QBs in general so that my create some bias for me, but it's a great trade in that acquire such high-caliber WRs.

hope this was a done deal...Its a no brainer imo

Regarding McGahee: Hes a plodder at this point. the explosiveness is limited and he doesnt get in the endzone the way you want a #1 back to in fantasy. Hes also an injury risk. I dont get whats to like so much at this point...

Yea, I accepted it pretty fast after I heard the Welker news. Must be why the manager who proposed it is having buyer's regret.

I looked into it, Warner was already taken but Ryan and O'Sullivan are still around. I've got them on my watch list. If Pennington can just put up an efficient game, I think my RB's and WR's can carry me against a poor opponent for that week.

I've already accepted it. But so far, 2 managers have vetoed it (1 or 2 more and it dies) and the manager who originally proposed it wants to back out. Hopefully it goes through.
