Iowa State Vs. Texas...gotta vent

daphinsforum_veteranOPI know, it's uncool to rant about ref's, and it's uncool to rant about a historically ****ty team, but I really feel my team for jobbed tonight. ISU mad some BIG mistakes, but at the end of the game, they forced a fumble on the 1, clearly on the replay and still didn't get the ball. So I come here to vent.

I have NO idea how he wasn't ****ing ejected.
Then this happened

That's just a glimpse of the ram job the refs gave us. We made our mistakes, but we made our plays.

Oboyluxury_boxThat was a real cheap shot. No place for that in college football. Guy should be suspended for a few games, imo. Play was pretty much over. He was not near the ball... and goes after the DBs knees. sad.
As for the fumble, it is close. However, I do think the ball was out. The refs called "down by contact". That is different than forward momentum is stopped. He definitely was not down. IF they were calling forward momentum was stopped, so be it. But if that is the call, blow your whistle. You can see the ISU defender is already running with the ball when the whistle blew.
