Yeah, how dare Henne not make the most of his 15 pass attempts. How dare he only have a 106 rating and not turn the ball over and win. Ugh!

    /sarcasm.

My bad String. I'm rampaging the board attacking anyone who disparages the 2-0 Dolphins without a very good reason. Consider yourself an innocent bystander.

I'm still confident the offense will get going. The team has confidence going into two home games against division rivals and then a bye week. This Sunday would be the perfect time to throw 12-15 passes to Marshall and a bunch to the others in between. I still expect the running game to to be favored though, I think against the Pats is when we may throw more. But, you never know with them.

However, if the defense continues to stuff teams and does so to the Jets early, then they may play more conservative to control the clock.

Two wins on the road to start the season is something no other team has done this year and something the Dolphins haven't done since I was in high school. Take a chill pill, drink plenty of fluids and get some rest.

If he connected with more attempts, he would have had more throws.

I am not dissing Henne. I am just saying he isn't playing all that well.

Although it isn't what I believe it can be, to say "it isn't working" is wrong. Without the passing game we don't put 7 on the board on our first drive yesterday.

It is still early in the season, winning builds confidence, and I believe the passing game will only get better as the season moves on.

But how could you say that for sure? So we stopped throwing because Henne isn't connecting on everything, even though he had a solid 61% completion percentage? Sorry, but I can't buy that.

I think we can all agree that we'd like to see a bit more out of our offense. With that being said, playing it safe the first couple of weeks on the road got us to 2-0, so it's really hard to find fault in it.

We haven't been trailing at all, so there really hasn't been a need to pressure Henne to force anything.

I just know that 2-0 feels awesome as a fan, and I know the players gotta be proud.

Maybe, "It isn't working" is too harsh, however it isn't being as effective as it needs to be to warrant more passes and Miami has been ahead so there has been no reason to go into a panic mode. Chad Henne did throw the ball 34 times in the first game.

I can say that and be positive that it is true.

It isn't that Henne isn't connecting on everything, it is that he isn't connecting on everything efficiently. 61% completion percentage is just looking at stats that do not tell the whole story.

Has Henne helped Miami win, of course. Has he played well enough not to lose, yes Miami is 2-0. Has he shown great improvement over last year, in my opinion, no. I am hoping he does show more than he has in the last two games. For Miami to be a serious contender in the playoffs, chances are Henne will have to play better.

Even though I would absolutely love it if Miami goes 19-0 and Henne throws an average of 15 passes per game. Well mostly because of the 19-0 part.
