Besides Drew Brees, when has a free agent QB ever been the solution to any teams QB problem? I'm talking past 5 years. Great QBs rarely ever become free agents and there won't be any this year. Mallet is a solution I like.

I am not saying sign VY. Definitely don't give up any draft picks for him. But VY is one of those guys that defies statistics. VY is 30-17 as an NFL starter. He is one of those players like McNabb that stats don't do his play justice. VY has become a much better QB the past two years and learned to take care of the ball better.
