Anyone else think Tiger's days of dominating golf tournaments is over? He doesn't intimidate anymore, lacks confidence, no one is afraid of him on Sundays anymore. Heck, he's not even in contention anymore. He's hitting fat shots, shanks, chunking chips...all very un-Tiger like. Personally, I love watching Tiger and hope he can return to form but it ain't looking good for him. David Duval comes to mind. Hope I'm wrong. Thoughts?
He will probably get it back, but it is going to be awhile. Anyone who has ever had to go through a split like he is will probably tell you that it makes it very difficult to concentrate on your job. Speaking from personal experience, the last year was tough for me at my job. It has only been recently that I felt like I have my legs back underneath me and feel like I am contributing at the workplace fully. Once the divorce is final and this is behind him, I suspect that Tiger will start to win again. But his days of dominating wholeheartedly are probably gone, you are correct there.
Everybody loses it in every sport for time to time, Tiger will come back I think....the PGA hopes so too, thats for sure..
Did this man peak as a professional golfer at 22 is the question I ask myself...why he changed his swing after going 22 under at a major is beyond me..He needs a swing coach bad, he needs that comraderie.
Its starting to look that way, but as skilled as he is at the game, you have to think he's going to get it back eventually. Will he be as dominant? Maybe not, but I have to think he's going to get it back somewhat eventually
I'm sure he'll return to form and win maybe 2 or 3 times a yr, but I think his days of 6-8 wins a yr are over. He's not even on the Ryder Cup team as of now and if I were Pavin, I wouldn't pick him. His confidence is shot, imo. He does need a swing coach bad, he can't fix this by himself. I mean, 18 over par for a tourney?? WOW. There is no fear factor anymore, and I seriously doubt that will ever be back.
