We laughed at the Jets and their trash-talking false bravado that we rolled, twice. Fun was had by all. Cats and Dogs living together, world peace on the horizon.
Then Peezy had to run his mouth. JP, If you aren't going to back it up, shut your yap. You're the number 4 pass rushing threat on our defense, my man. If you're not going to back it up on the field: STOP TALKING.
We're an organization that's making a remarkable transformation into a team that does things the right way. Stop giving the haters Bulletin Board material.
Learn from our opponents mistakes, don't replicate them.

Well, to be fair, he did leave without saying a word to the press.

This difference here is he stopped running his mouth after the game.

Said it before: Joey Porter needs to STFU and make plays.
In this case he did the exact opposite.
On the balance, his "buncha-sacks" last year included, Porter's time in Miami has been an exercise in frustration because he disappears against good competitors and, like now, lets his mouth write a check that his level of play can't cash.jetssuck likes this. -
Did Porter say anything disrespectful? How can you compare him to the Jets?

its part of his game, take that away and he will suck... oh wait..
Honestly something happened from last year to this be it JT's presence or the exit of Roth but Were not able to get to the QB and with the talent we have there we should be racking up sacks. -
As for CLASS..Did you hear our Coach after the game...he paid the Pats their due..showed them respect for how they played and what they have accomplished..but also said our team needed to take the next step. Class and dignity...with a little motivation. The way it is SUPPOSED to be done.xphinfanx likes this. -
Most Jets fans are pissed off at the guys that ran their mouths because they didn't back it up and it made those losses, even more embarrassing.
Same goes here.......Joey Porter right now, is nothing but an embarrassment to this team. All that mouth and all that hatred transpired into 0 plays on the field. Him and Crowder should just quit football and join the circus.....both are nothing but clowns. And pretty much useless to us, all they are at this point is embarrassing.NaboCane likes this. -
as if we would have beaten them if Joey hadn't have run his mouth.
Joeys a man. An extremely large one at that. He's won more super bowls than anyone else on this roster. Unlike everyone else on our team, he knows what its like to win a playoff game. im not defending his play but this is america after all, so i will defend his right to say whatever he wants. I stand by what he said about Brady having a separate set of rules and im glad he said it. It's important that some one does. -
Before there was twitter  there was a thing called a "bulletin board;" and it was every coach's edict to his players that they didn't provide opponents with bulletin board material.
There was a very good reason for that, established and enforced by men who knew the game better than anyone here - and better than Joey ****ing Porter.
It goes back to basics: you don't give your opponents any MORE reason to want to beat you than the ones inherent to the game.
And that's the name of THAT tune.jetssuck likes this. -
Porter is a punk and nothing more........the only thing that saved him was going on a tear and getting all those sacks last year. Now that he's pretty much useless on the field, he stops getting a pass for his thuggish behavior.
And this being "America"......doesn't give ppl a license to be a total jackass that the rest of us have to listen to. -
Getting Peezy to shut his mouth is like getting a dog to meow. Forget it. Ain't gonna happen. It's his nature.

Porter needs to start producing. But he didn't talk any ****. Since when did stating the obvious become trash talking? He was brought onto a show, and the host asked him "Does Brady have his own rules". Some people need to learn what trash talking is. That said, Porter needs to produce or get out of town.

I don't care for porters off the field issues either, but im not defending that. But the only thing he did was week was voice his opinion on the patriots. as a player, hes allowed to do that if he chooses. Can't hate the guy cause there are people in this world who actually wanna hear what he has to say. (even tho they probably arent dolphin fans at this point.) -

The double standard here is hilarious. And applauding him for ducking the music he should've faced from the press afterward?
